Retro-Futuristic Dystopia
"I haven't read many books in this genre but the few I have read I really enjoyed. Retro-futurism is such a neat genre that tends to be a bit niche. It's really refreshing to see new authors contribute to the genre. Sometimes it's really hard to pull this off because it requires historical accuracy along with the usual challenges that accompany writing dystopian or science fiction works. But the author accomplishes all of this really well! I love the attention to detail. The images are extremely vivid and it really makes you feel like you are there with the characters in that specific time period. Also, I absolutely love the premise. This story promises some fantastic conflict that's sure to fuel a great amount of drama. Sometimes the author repeats the same sentence structure and commas are overused. Otherwise, I really liked the writing style. It was really clear and easy to understand and it felt very mature. Really looking forward to more updates."
