Prologue
This book is my own creation. It may show graphic scenes, abuse and erotical scenes (if there are some really disturbing scenes I’ll put an disclaimer on the chapter).
I would be really happy for any kind of feedback. This is my first attempt for an English written story since it’s not my native language - so any grammar corrections from your side are welcomed! (As well the ideas of how to improve my work).
This book will be (hopefully) updated on weekly basis. If not, there will be announcement/explanation on my wall.
I was floating in silent darkness. For how long I didn’t know and actually didn’t even care. It was better this way. Being alone was my purpose in the whole universe. The forgotten god of the fucking death. No one liked me, no one was trying to talk to me, they only ever feared me. Because I was always the one who came and took theirs loved ones.
And when time changed and all the humans that believed in us abandoned us or died, we ceased to exist too. Left to die, spend the eternity in this hellhole of nothingness. Loud silence, and bright darkness. Nothing to see, to feel, to hear… just this space full of boredom.
I missed the realm that I created, I even missed the realms of my brothers and sisters and the ones that we made together. Now nothing of our hard work existed anymore. The souls of dead people were forgotten and died with my realm. The servants died too.
How perishable was the faith and memories of human beings. Those fools who lived for such a short time, killed each other without any reason, battled one another. Humans were… awful. I couldn’t understand why others liked them that much. I preferred animals and other beings, even though they couldn’t power us with their faith, since we were all made of it. Nothing of it mattered anymore. After all this time I had only one thing to do. Think. I have no power to create something anymore.
A sound. Something similar to the drop of a water connecting with the surface of puddle, pierced the blissful, annoying silence of my prison.
My eyes instinctively scanned the nothingness around to see something, the cause of the sound. But found nothing. Yet again, the same sound, much louder this time. And then I saw the smallest dot of white in front of me.
Without any thinking, my brows furrowed. What did this mean? Where is it coming from?
Another sound, another drop of water, which landed on my cheek this time. I smeared it of and tasted it. Salty.
A sea water? No. Tears?
The white dot started to get bigger and bigger, letting in the darkness more of the light that felt so warm on my skin. The accents of orange and yellow blending together as the door to the unknown realm started to appear in front of me.
Anything was better than sitting for an eternity in this hole of boredom. So, I stood up and whit long confident steps entered the light.
