Now, this is an odd concept...
Now, this may be hard for you to understand, I know it was when I first learned it. Everyone, you have ever met, read about, heard about, or seen, is both a villain and a hero in their own right. This is odd, correct? In literature there is always a clear and out right antagonist and protagonist. They may be skewed and shown in odd lights so you think it's the opposite, but really its crystal clear in literature compared to real life. Black and white, you're good or you're bad. There is no in-between. There is no gray. But in real life, we have an entire rainbow, monochromatic, complements. It's all there. You just need to know where to look. The same is true with people. Take me for example.
In literature I would always be labeled the bad guy. I wear leather jackets, I'm white, I'm a guy, and did I forget to mention the most important reason? I have six fingers on my left hand, and my name is Rugen.
Ring any bells? Any classic tales of true love and adventure come into mind? No? Ah, well, you can Google it now that everyone and everything is online anyway.
Anyway, I was born defective and my parents, being huge fans of literature named me after the evil six fingered man who killed Inigo Montoya's father when he was just ten years old. What kind of jerk does that?
Well, apparently, people with six fingers.
So, here I am, depicting my tale. For, while I have six fingers, and I am supposed to be the bad guy, I really am a good guy. It's true. I saved someone's life and made sacrifices and everything. You want to hear? Well, it's worth a shot. Maybe then you won't see things as black and white anymore.
