"This was a great read. I did hope there’d be more about Brinley continuing to have a successful career but overall I think she got the beginnings of the life she wanted. I think it’s great to have stories out there like this showing people with full lives and complex emotional landscapes. I also a love the friendships. I’m definitely keeping an eye out for more stories by this author. "
Two Reviews for Book 1 & Sequel Book 2
"For some Inkit Glitchey reason, I wasn't able to leave a review for the first book, (after numerous attempts), so I'm doing them both with this sequel, so I hope it's not too confusing. BOOK 1: I was shattered. This book made me feel gutted & so heartbroken for Brinley. She knew in her gut that "When someone shows you who they are, believe them" - but then again, love IS blind. I felt so disappointed in Kyler's betrayal, hurtful behavior, & his stupid naïveté at Remi duplicitous past actions that he should have turned & run, because she WILL break him again. But mostly this book made me FEEL, which imho is what a good writer & what a good book does. So, bravo, Author! This has a very "Splendor in the Grass" feeling to it (& I hated the ending to that too). I really want(ed) a happy ending for this couple so I'm hoping beyond hope that the sequel will make all things right. BOOK 2: I was so happy & excited to see Brinley & Kyler working their way back to each other. There were times I was so frustrated with Brinley for not giving Kyler the chance to even explain himself by her jumping to conclusions letting her own insecurities/anxiety take her down the rabbit hole. And then I would be pissed that Kyler would get angry at Brinley for being so distrustful of his actions. How could he be so clueless at times, letting Chloe, Remi & all the thirsty women even near him. The way each of their trust issues kept them from each other was driving me crazy. But in the end, they, (and I) got our happy ending. The characters of Cam & Ash, in addition to the craziness that is Olivia was enduring & entertaining. I loved both books and I hope to read more of your work. Thank you again, Author ❤️"

"I just want you to know the first book was so well written. I've been in a very similar situation and after finishing the book I literally had to reflect for most of the day. My heart was hurting. I'm so glad this second one is healing some of the scars though for her. Once again well written so I must say if your went through this as well then bless you sister I feel ya.
