E.54 Zahri

Summary

Zahri's an E from plant E.54. As a part of her apprenticeship, she is to live with and study the occupants of the planet Earth. Zahri thought that she was the only one of her kind on this planet until she met Kal-El. Also known as Klark Kenti—a descendant of her creator, a Kryptonian. Kal-El fell hard and fast for Zahri. He had found someone who could relate to him. She was his counterpart in many ways. His only issue is that she has a predatory nature that he refuses to accept. There are two types of E's. They are either allergic to sunlight or need it to survive. But they both need to feed on blood to live. Kal-El's in love with Zahri, but her vampiric traits goes against everything that he stands for. —Humanitarianism, belief in the value of human life

Chapter 1

Vampire.

That’s what my neighbors have dubbed me.

A recluse.

I don’t interact or engage with them.

Why should I? They’re beneath me.

They are inferior in every way.

I’ve been sent here to study them.

And I’ve decided that I don’t like them.

Every couple of decades, one of our kind is sent here to monitor their advancements.

And it is the same result from every study of theirs.

They’re loud, destructive, and their lust for greed knows no bounds.

They are destroying their planet.

It is sick.

And has reached critical safety limits to sustain them.

It is only a matter of time, and they will destroy themselves.

Just like our maker’s people destroyed their planet.

My name is Zahri, and I’m an “E” from Plant E.54.

My tenure amongst these beasts is temporary.

So I abide my time, wasting away in the home that I’d stolen from a family.

But no more.

I’ve had enough of them and this existence.

I’ve decided that I will leave my mark on this world.

They will speak of me for many cycles, after I am long gone from this planet and mine.

Hey,

I just finished reading your story and I really loved it. The characters felt so real and every scene kept me completely engaged. I also have a few ideas on how we could enhance it visually if you are open to exploring them.
