Prologue
“Seven hundred thousand going to alpha David, going once…going twice-” the announcer was cut off when a deep powerful voice cut him off.
“One million.” A mysterious guy in a suit yelled from the last row of the room. I noticed no one else was with beside him. I felt my eyebrows draw together.
Gasps went once again throughout the crowd.
‘What?’ I wondered. I kept staring at the guy in the suit from the back. He stood up straight with his shades on. This made him more mysterious to me.
“One million going once…going twice-” the announcer paused in order to see if anyone would say something. Silence ran throughout the room. Nothing can get away from being heard.
“Sir, please state your name and rank in order to claim her,” the announcer continued calmly.
I continued to look at the guy in the back. He had his arms crossed.
“Jasper Black, the Alpha King.” The mystery guy replied as he took off his shades.
I was now staring at his clear silver eyes.
