how it started
Hiya I’m Dove I’m 19 I live in Paris and I just signed up for a volunteering club with my best friend Camilo.“hey Camilo what are you up to” I say “nothing much, you?“ Camilo says “same here, we have a group meeting next week so maybe we can meet up before it begins.“great let’s do it” Camilo nods, “ok bye,” I say as I walk inside my house, I stand up from my bed, and I get ready quickly, I grab my bag and we both head to the park together, “I’ll drive us to the meeting place,” camilo says walking up to his car “ok,” I say as he opens the door for me, camilo and I have lived in London for our whole lives but we both moved to Paris for college, “hey babe what are you doing are the park... with cam?” my bf rowan says “we signed up of a volunteering thing for the autumn fest and I’m with camilo because he’s my best friend?”
“Whatever, I set up a picnic for us as a surprise but I guess we can eat now” “aww that’s so cute darling but I really need to focus on the festival” “BUT I SET ALL OF THIS UP FOR WHAT, NOTHING” rowan said “I’m sorry darling I’ll eat with you camilo just set everything up to get started” I said “oh ok love” cam said “she not you love she MYYY girlfriend” rowan said “I beg your pardon I’m sorry I was just implying that’s she lovey?” “darling that’s just British chat,” I said laughing and rolling my eyes playfully. “you better be sorry” rowan said, rowan is from America but moved to Paris for school as well “aww don’t worry darling your my love Camilo is just my love-Y best friend” I replied, I could tell by my tone that I was lying. “HEY,” I heard a voice coming through the speaker “hello this is Catherine speaking, everyone volunteering go to the corridor” “ok Catherine” “good luck love,” rowan says “love u babe <3” “love u too babe,” I say “bye babe see you soon,” rowan says “bye bye,” Camilo said as I look up, I saw camilo staring at me. “what?” I asked blushing slightly “what’s wrong?” I replied innocently “just wondering why your blushing,” he says as he smirks playfully. “shut up idiot”, I mumble back
He laughs “sorry love, it’s just that you’re so lovely when you blush,” he states while winking. “Camilo!” I whisper and shout in an embarrassing way me and camilo joke that we like each other sometimes but we never mean it we also joke that we think were ugly but secretly I think he’s kinda cute “come on ugly,” he said taking my hand and placing it in the crook of his arm, as we headed to the hallway. After about 20 minutes of waiting, the hallways were full and the volunteers needed to queue outside the park we finished clearing the park where the rides are located, and we decided to take a walk around the park to get the full experience since the organizers did not specify how long they would hold it for. After we finished walking, we decided to call it a day and head home since I had a date with Rowan that night but camilo didn’t have any plans either and I canceled my plans with rowan to hang out with cam I didn’t tell rowan that because I knew he would make a big deal about it and spoil all of our fun. We got into Camilo’s car and headed off to Camilo’s house which was right beside mine. As we were getting into the house, Camilo’s phone rang and he answered “hello darling who’s this?” “It’s me,” I heard “hey mate where are you?” “we’re still going to my house and we just left love,” Camilo replied “alright can you head over,
because we were gonna start without you,” “sure but I’m with dove,” “who the hell is ‘dove’,” the person asked, “it’s the girl I told you about earlier today, remember?” Camilo said “fine bring her,” they replied, “okay mate thank you,” Camilo then ends the call and turns towards me “well that was lovely,” I said “it sure was,” Camilo said smiling brightly “so you got plans now for tonight?” I ask “ya but really I just wanna chill with you and maybe watch some movies and I’ll even order Pot-au-Feu and crisps for dinner,” “sounds great to me,” I reply smiling widely, “that sounds awesome, and if you want I can cancel with Annette we were just going to finish a video game” ” if you want to?” I said hesitantly “of course,” he said, “great, let’s go find something that isn’t terrible to watch then,” I replied. “alright,” he says, as he puts his phone back in his pocket. “So what movies do you have here anyway?” I asked curiously. “Well there’s some action films, some teen drama movies, and a couple of romantic comedies,” he said pointing at each category “romance?” I asked
