Summary

suddenly a gust of wind came from that open window struck her face and she woke up. She slowly moved head, opened her eyes, looked at me and smiled a little. Oh!! her smile... I must say that her smile was a thing of beauty beyond comparison, it was a work of art which was crafted by the mighty hands of the creator himself just to light up the world. That smile was a symphony of joy and dance of happiness both rolled together.

And She Woke Up

That lucid dream kept me glued into my blanket. It was a pretty wild dream.
Usually I have a peaceful sleep with no dreams. But some nights go by so wild that the dream I dream must be penned.

So I was in a garden talking with my girlfriend and we were talking about different things and

she says,
"You know Hrishi, my happiness starts with Hr."
I know she was trying to be romantic and I wanted to participate but my sarcastic soul replied,
"My happiness starts with Ha, your dictionary must have a printing mistake."

As her name doesn't start with Ha she felt heartbroken and picked up that stick to beat me in response I stood up and started running, my legs trembled and I was falling on my face so I closed my eyes and as I opened my eyes all of sudden I was on the couch and I noticed someone is sleeping in my arms, a girl, definitely not my girlfriend.

I was so confused but her head on my chest felt so solace that it eased my anxiety, my breath became calmer than ever.

As I gazed at this mystery girl in my arms,
Her serene face and soft breaths were so enchanting that I felt hypnotized by her beauty. The innocence and vulnerability of her sleeping face combined with the gentle draping of her hair curls on her face piqued my interest in seeing her face. So I softly moved her hair curls from her cheek and kept staring at her peaceful and serene face and I felt a strange and mysterious connection with this unknown girl, felt like our souls had been entangled from the beginning of the time. As I was experiencing this, suddenly a gust of wind came from that open window struck her face and she woke.

I felt my heart skip a beat as her twinkling eyes met mine. Looking at me with those sparkling eyes she stretched her arms, draped them around me and said, "Good Evening", kissing me on the neck. This made me dissolve more into her.
Then she stirred in my arms and slowly got up from me leaving my arms with a sense of longing and loss. I wanted to hold onto her like that forever and freeze that moment in time. As she moved away it was a moment of both joy and sorrow for me as I can feel the warmth of her body lingering on my skin.

The sound of her footsteps getting away from me echoed in my heart. As she headed towards the kitchen I followed her back with my eyes admiring her light and effortless steps. Her long dark brown hair were flowing freely down her back, highlighting the delicate embroidery of her white floral dress. Every movement of her was like subtle poetry.

As she entered the kitchen,

she said,
"Hrishi, your favourite or mine?"

I replied with a confused sound, "Y...Yes...yeah...yours!"

As she was making that coffee, she was humming a tune, her humming was like music to my ears. With her humming in the background I lifted myself, sat comfortably on the couch and I noticed It was the golden hours of the day, the sunlight is streaming in through the windows casting a warm glow on everything in the room. The air in the room was filled with the rich aroma of coffee and sweet scent of her hair. It was a serene moment lost in time. I felt like I was home after decades of work. While my senses were mesmerized by this scenario, I noticed her humming was stopped and she was pouring coffee into cups.
I was eagerly waiting to taste her coffee. I saw her stepping out of the kitchen and with her first step out of the kitchen I got sucked into the couch, everything became dark and out of nowhere I was standing in the bus going from Pune University(SPPU) to Nigdi. I started scanning the crowded interior.

And I saw a girl....
There she was!!
The beauty I never ever saw in my entire life, this was the first time I saw her.

I think I just travelled back in time to the day I saw her for the first time...
.
.
.
.
So what happened?
Did I approached her?
Did it go well for me?
Stay tuned for the next part....
