"come on Alex you gonna be late!" mum screeched. "K" I say while looking at my phone. "Don't K me get ready!" Mum commands "ugh do I have to?" "Yes you do school is a place where you pursue your dreams and high school helps you get a job later o-" mom says like she cares about my future. "Ugh stop it with the pep talks! Your embarrassing me!" I say in frustration. "But no one's around" mom explains. "Andy is! He's got a phone so he can post on social media and junk!" I replied. "He is already at school" mom explains. "So yea let me continue. Pursue your dre-" mom blabs. "Okay fine I will go to school! Just stop singing!"

When I got to school I realized I forgot to do my homework. " Ugh Mr Salcher is going to kill me Ethan! what do I do?" I say ansiously. "Skip school" Ethan says with a mouthful of chips. "Ethan are you crazy? If mom finds out thin if Mr Salcher doesn't kill me first mom will!" I say awaiting for an answer. "That's it your mom WONT find out" Ethan anoucced. "What if she does" I say frightened. "Trust me she won't" Ethan says. I like Ethan but I don't have a huge friendship with him. But I decided to trust him on this one. "Ok but just say to the teachers that I have chicken pox K?" I ask. "Yep got it all covered" Ethan says as the morning bell rings. "Oh wait!" Ethan yells. "What?" I yell back. "Meet up at McDonald's?" He asks "sure" I reply.

As I wave goodbye I didn't realize that was my last goodbye to my best friend.

I didn't meet up with Ethan because I wasn't there. I was taken by someone or something who wanted to kill me...
