Mainline not Sidetracked
"Story, and character wise, I'm thoroughly enjoying this novel. I'm appreciating the first person writing style, which has distinct touches of Noir about it , making me wonder if " Penelope", the main protagonist, can be trusted (*SPOILER ALERT*)with the feelings Ardell appears to be developing for her...as well as the thoughtful insights into the distinct personalities each story character exhibits. Apart from some occasional typos ( which I understand is currently being addressed in a revised version of this story) and perhaps a couple of flauntings of poetic licence , I'm very much liking this solid tale of two broken people being thrown together like a Japanese kintsugi pot . Certainly worth a read . "
