"I really enjoyed the short story and the summary of it was intriguing. Although it's supposed to be a short story, I think slowing down and adding just a few more chapters would do the story justice. It seemed like being fed information more so than imagining a story. Despite that, I honestly felt bad for Rylee toward the end. The story definitely did well in making me feel for her. As for Nicholas, he got what he deserved. I thought his point of view was interesting as to how he lived the rest of his life. I'm not one for sad endings, but it left me empty yet fulfilled (in a good way). To top it off, I really liked it!"
