"This is a one shot story. I read it and it all felt so real because women have to go through all that in real life. This book is the perfect example of how culture meddle with religion because of ignorance. I felt extreme anger when I saw the main character go through all that. This is amazingly written 10/10. Loved the fact that author wrote about reality to make people aware of the toxicity of some people. "
Would like to see more of this story.
"This story does a great job of explaining cultural defense. What divorce mean to some people and the treatment of a woman that request it. I would love to see this one-shot turn into a book. From the start to the end and serving a divorce in a country where divorce is considered taboo. "
A short tale with a real message
"This story features a real message about the treatment of others and having compassion for their circumstances. Meera, the main character, is a divorced woman facing the scrutiny from everyday people. I think the author did a good job with the delivery of such a message. In the second chapter Meera was even able to find some happiness after that matter of her divorce. If I may add, In the 2nd chapter the jumping between timeframes chopped the flow of the story. Especially because it contrasts with the flow of the 1st chapter. However, this didn't seem to effect the message of the chapter. I hope the author continues to write especially on important ideals such as the treatment of others. And helping those who are already down. :)"
