Favorite power couple!
"Love the plot of this story: a futuristic world where the rich have all the benefits and the poor are punished for being poor. A but unrealistic though, huh? (Sarcasm) I like how intelligent and capable Raven is, yet isn't afraid to go out and have fun at clubs. L is responsible and seems to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders, but loves to laugh and joke around. And with each other? 🌶️ I'm a big fan of slowburns, but sometimes it's nice to read something where the main characters both know exactly what they want, and that thing is each other. ❤️ The messages of forgiveness, faith, and hope are also really nice to read. Above the action and the romance, it's a story meant to uplift humanity. I recommend for any fans of romance, sci-fi, action, or adventure!"
Action packed
"Honestly, this is not a genre that I would normally read, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely be reading more sci-fi going forward. Not done reading yet, so will come back to do an overall review. "
Beautifully written
"I love sci-fi so I was immediately intrigued after reading the blurb. The first chapter did not disappoint. The descriptive writing is amazing and the story development was really good. The writer does a great job of creating an interesting worldview and developing the main character. I'm definitely intrigued and can't wait to read more!"
Captivating
"This story is amazing at capturing the readers attention. Very descriptive and you build the world in a way that makes the reader feel like they’re there with the characters. Also the beginning of your story is a perfect way to hook someone. The way you start it makes the reader feel as though they’ve been put into this new world but in a way that makes them curious to see more. Amazing work. Keep writing :)"
Cyberpunk 2077
"This story reminded me so much of Cyberpunk 2077, both the game and the show, and I think that's why I liked it so much. I don't want people to think Firewall copies anything from Cyberpunk 2077 because it doesn't but some concepts are very similar. Humans have chips inside of them that can be controlled. The chips can give people powers and such. But Rivergardengirl takes such a unique twist on the concept. You care so much about the main character in this story and her plight. She's constantly in danger and every chapter makes your stomach twist because you're not sure if she's going to survive...when she does survive, she does so either by luck or she does so just barely. I love stories like this one. They really make you sit on the edge of your seat. Great for fans of Akira, Cyberpunk 2077, Blade Runner, and Arcane."
