A Beautiful Insight into One Woman’s Inner Woman
"From the not-so-serious to the sobering, Karin shares her innermost thoughts and experiences in a beautiful, ongoing collection - and this is only one of four volumes! The strength of Karin’s writing style is her lack of cumbersome, flowery words and a gentle pointedness, making complex struggles and thoughts simplistic and easy for her readers to grasp. While the theme of the collection is HER Inner Woman, I think most people will find the poems relatable. I found the collection (first 10 poems) to be unique in their delivery and showcased some not-so-typical topics, and thus showed a nice originality. None of the struggles she presents are mundane, and therefore I found their impact to be quite full. Again, her simplicity lends to a more impactfulness, as the reader can easily grasp her message without having to ponder too hard. She speaks clearly and concisely through her poetry, showing her Inner Woman and heart and soul - which are BEAUTIFUL, perhaps because of the pain and struggles. Technically, she’s done an outstanding job. The few errors/suggestions I had were minimal and hard to find if you’re not looking for them. There was a little bit of inconsistency with rhyming or tempo/structure in a few of the poems. But when she did employ schemes, she did so so smoothly. I truly appreciated the opportunity to share in her innermost thoughts and witness her ability to show her inner STRENGTH as well! I highly recommend this collection!"
