What is your opinion?

Compelling

"This was a very interesting read to say the least. I really liked the details given and the build up to the finale scene. The name of the protagonist tying to the end of the story is really cool. And I like the ending, how it leaves it to the reader to interpret. Nice job!"

What a twist!

"If you've seen Midnight Mass on Netflix, you'll love this short story. The premise is similar: a catholic mass, an innocent protagonist, and a preacher who is a little "off." While there are no vampires in this story, there's enough gothic horror to fill that supernatural-sized hole in your heart. This is a quick, satisfying read. The details are fantastic. I loved the way the author describes Mrs. Witherly, from her dress to her hat to her silk gloves, and how these details come back at the end in a very surprising--albeit disturbing--way. The ending leaves you with a lot of questions, but sometimes the best kind of endings do that, and I love stories that ask the reader to come up with their own ideas of the outcome. I think the cover could be creepier though to tease that this is a horror story. "
