"I have read many, I mean many werewolf stories but this is the most unique story I have encountered in a while. Absolutely must read. This book can transport you and it is not the typical “mate” book. It’s raw and unfiltered, not focused on “one look and I love you forever” trope. Which I found in a werewolf story refreshing and real. I cannot believe this isn’t published. I cannot wait for the second book. "

A Gripping Story, Twists, and an Elusive Happy Ending
"This is going to be a long one. What I Loved: The angst, the twists, and the heartbreak kept me completely emotionally invested. Lo and Tristan never seem to catch a break, and I felt every high and low along the way. I screamed at my phone, I cried, and I felt angry and frustrated for them. Their story is not for the faint of heart; they’re pulled apart, brought together, and ripped apart again in a way that keeps you wanting more. This is a very compelling, and the world-building is simply amazing. The different wolf clans are unique and so well imagined, it only deepens the story and the intrigue. This was one of those books I couldn’t put down, even though I sometimes had to pause just to emotionally recover from everything happening. Things to Watch For: There is a lot of trauma in this book. While a lot of it adds emotional weight, at times it felt a bit heavy, almost like tragedy stacked back to back. If you’re sensitive to darker themes, you may want to pace yourself. I also struggled a bit with Lo’s characterization. Given the amount of trauma she endured in her youth, I expected her to be more hardened or guarded. While she does grow stronger as the story progresses, her early innocence and emotional fragility were at times difficult for me to read. Overall: Despite the heavy themes, this is a gripping and emotionally charged read. I’d definitely recommend it, with the fair warning that it explores dark territory and carries a heavy emotional load. "
