Chapter 1
You sighed, holding your head in your hands. A small grunt escaped your lips as you got up and made your way to the living room. You saw your ex on the couch with his new girlfriend. A sour feeling crept up your spine, making you shiver. You had no reason to live here anymore. Especially with him. You hated him, loathed him. Making your way to the front door you made the softest growl.
Your (E/C) eyes closed as you opened the door, heading to your new job. As a new full-timer you had to work there all day and night, you assumed you got to go home at six, but honestly you didn't care. You always kept a pocket knife on hand in the house, since his new girlfriend always bugged the shit out of you. You decided to bring it with, you didn't know what to expect from the animatronics that ran the place.
Now in your car you pulled out of your spot, glaring at the apartment window. Once facing the road you sped off toward the Pizza Plex. The drive was nice, you listened to the Wellerman Sea Shanty Remix, a good song. Smiling a small bit you almost forgot about the house situation, but once you got there you felt all heavy with grief. Fucking asshole. You thought, locking the door. You stared at the huge building in awe. It was huge. Bigger then most places. You looked at your watch; 7:00 AM. Your shift started at 8:00 AM, you had time to explore, if your boss let you. You took your first step toward the place, speed walking to the doors.
You were greeted by your boss, shoving your work clothing into your hands. Her name tag read Vanessa. You thanked her, slightly annoyed that she just shoved the clothing into your grasp. "Your working the daycare, as a full-timer you'll be living here from now on. Your new co-worker will show you where you bed down." You blinked, shocked that you'd be living here, at the Pizza Plex. You opened your mouth to protest but then was hit with memory of your ex-boyfriend and his bitch. "Okay." You simply said, not caring anymore. You'd rather live here then at the apartment. You didn't have much, just your phone and a blanket, some clothing, but you didn't care about them. Making your way to the employee restroom you changed into the clothing. A yellow pair of pants and a yellow shirt. The pants had suns on them and the shirt had a large sun on the back. You quite liked the fit. You also had a pair of boots that were sparkly and had suns.
Heading out of the restroom you looked for the Daycare. Seeking out the entrance, you found a slide that said; employees only. You blinked and sat to the entrance of the slide, shrugging. An entrance is and entrance right? You slid down head first, a silly feeling in your stomach. You felt like a kid again. Landing on a mat, you stood up. The daycare was empty as far as you could see. Walking around you made your way to the front desk, clocking in as you believed you should. Wonder where my co-worker is... You thought, exploring. You shook your head, looking up at the large statue in front of you. It looked so realistic. Like a sun-faced animatronic. You narrowed your eyes, leaning in. You studied it until it moved. "GAH!" You yelped, jolting backwards. "Woah there!" The voice surprised you. "Did not mean to scare you, sunshine!"
You looked up to meet worried eyes. You felt calmed. "It's alright, you just startled me." The robot held out his hand and you hesitated to take it. But you didn't want to make him feel bad so you let him help you up. "You must be my new full time co-worker!" He gasped, hopping on his feet. "Ah- yes? Oh! Yes! Yes I am!" You chuckled, his joyful attitude made you feel quite content. "I'm Sundrop! But you can call me Sun!" Sun introduced himself, you smiled. "I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you, Sun!" You shook his hand, a small smile on your face. Once you were done with introduction, you sighed once again, taking in everything. Looking back around you made your way to the employee desk to check the time. You heard the faintest calls of children making their way down to the floor. "Well, time for the day to fully begin." You said to yourself. "Indeed! Now, lets get ready for the children's arrival!" Sun cheered. Looking at the animatronic, you felt a small part of your enclosed heart open. Maybe you would enjoy working and living here. You were ready. Ready to open up. Following Sun you stood next to him, awaiting the children's entrances. Yes, you were ready, to start a new life.
