Great Novella!
"This was a great Halloween novella full of broken characters, bullies, violence, and steam! It’s very fast-paced with no dull moments and kept interested the entire time. Lexi and Xavier are both broken from trauma in their lives, though we don’t fully get Xavier’s backstory and I hope we do in whatever book we see these characters in again. Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved how Xavier could just sense what Lexi needed in each moment. It could be anything from a comforting touch or a soft smile to enacting revenge on those who hurt her. Their story doesn’t end here and I can’t wait to see where it goes. I have a feeling we will be seeing them interact with the characters from A Conspiracy of Ravens!"
