Backstory.
In the Kingdom of Eina, there resides 2 princes. The elder, Prince Mateo; a snarky and arrogant bastard who thinks he rules the world. Being the eldest by 15 years, all he ever knew was being the centre of attention, being pamperd and coddled.
Yet, when Prince Donovan was born, Mateo was no longer the centre of attention and hated it. The Prince despised his new born brother from day one and now, even as adult men, their rivalry continues.
Prince Donovan was believed to be gifted from an early age, he was very intelligent, passing all his exams, smart in every subject, and tallented at every sport. The golden child, the child any parent would die for really. Donovan never understood why his brother held such strong hate for him, why he always tried to catch him "slipping up", when in reality Donovan rarely made mistakes, why Mateo couldnt just..be happy for him!
Their mother soon passes at the age of 83 and The King was starting to age himself, he needed to give the throne to one of his sons. He watched his sons have petty arguments yet one always seemed to come out on top - Donovan.
With this knowledge, Mateo now 35 and Donovan 20 years of age, our story now begins with both competing for the title of king.
