Chapter 1
I looked at myself in the mirror, I stared back at my golden blonde slightly wavy hair that goes down to my waist. My skin is the same color as alabaster. Checking out my short frame at only 5 foot 4 inches. My boobs are on the larger side, too large for my frame. On the plus side, my favorite asset is I have ass for days. But, I carefully look in to the mirror and check out my curves. I feel like I have gotten slightly chubby over the winter. I stare back at my self; looking right into my emerald green eyes, I sigh. “You are paranoid Rissa.” I say out-loud to myself. I continue putting on body lotion getting ready for school. Thinking to myself out loud “what am I going to do for my birthday?” I’m turning 18 in less than a week. Thanksgiving just passed recently, I spent time with the only family that I have left. I continue getting dressed putting on a gold body-con dress with long sleeves, short so it shows my legs. Black ankle booties and a thin office sweater because you know it is November out. I grab my book bag and sigh. “Off to school I go” I say to myself, with nobody there to answer me. I live alone in this large mansion-like house. I do have a maid and a butler but they do not talk much unless I need something. I do not have any siblings, my parents died a little over a year ago in a car accident. They left me their fortune. My dads brother is currently running a cyber security business that my dad had until I am old enough myself to run it. So it’s really been me just raising myself pretty much. My uncle does come over when he can to make sure everything is OK and take me shopping and just hang out sometimes.
Emotionally I am not OK. Financially I am well of for the rest of my life, I guess in today’s day and age that is all that matters is money I guess. I head downstairs and grab my coffee the butler has waiting for me waiting by the door. I do not have time for breakfast today and he knows this. I smile and say”good morning Raul, how are we today?” Raul responds “I am well thank you, I would like a meeting with you later today if that is possible?” “Sure no problem Raul when I get home from school.“I make my way outside to my white Lexus, it has shiny white interior and my favorite pink fuzzy steering cover on the steering wheel with strands of tinsel it. I sigh...Just a few more months left of school, then I graduate. I have never felt better about applying myself to school and I was able to graduate in January with 2 other kids after exams. “You have this Rissa,” I say to myself.
Pulling out of the driveway making my way carefully to school, which is not too far away to walk to. I was about 4 miles away from school in the neighborhood where the houses were spread out far enough that there were patches of trees between them, and my phone rang through with a text message. I peered down at my phone sitting in my purse and pulled it out to check it real quick. I swear I only had my eyes off the road for 2 seconds, but when I looked up a wolf ran out in front of me. I hit the brakes as quickly as I could, sending me straight into a tree and me flying to the windshield. Thank goodness the airbag didn’t deploy, I was only doing 30.I sat there for a moment, my heart racing as I took in the situation. I was grateful that I was still alive, but my car was a mess. The hood had crumpled, the windshield was shattered, and the front bumper was hanging off. The wolf was nowhere to be seen, but I hoped it had survived as well.
I took a deep breath and reached for my phone to call for help. But as I looked at the screen, I realized something was wrong. My phone was cracked and black, the screen completely shattered. I tried to turn it on, but nothing happened. Panic set in as I realized that I was stranded in the middle of nowhere with no way to call for help.
