Led By Sight

"Needed to update my review from before. Because I've read several chapters since chapter Two! 😘 I love this book more and more with each passing chapter. The plot is intriguing and I guarantee you, you will get hooked right off the bat. It's very well written and I can't wait for more. ❤ "

Great start!

"I'm really enjoying this so far! The focus on the between the sisters is so refreshing to see, and you write their relationship in a realistic way. I also appreciate the addition of magic - it sets your story apart from so many others in the werewolf/wolf-shifter genre! I would love to see just a tiny bit more description/scene setting to fill in some of the blanks around the dialogue blocks, but otherwise I enjoy your writing style! Can't wait for more chapters!!"

Great story!

"You have a very strong story, and I'm already pulled into the plot. You've done a great job in creating good duologue along with a gripping story. Now let me see if I can give some helpful critiques. The intro felt a little confusing, it took me a while to understand where they where. It was a beautiful introduction but maybe add a scene description explaining the scene and where Harlow is sitting. You say they are mystic, and then Wolves are born with a mark behind their ear. Are you saying mystic wolves are born with a mark behind their ear? I would clarify this paragraph. The paragraph after she tells her twin about making the orb that starts with "the next morning", should probably have an extra space or a marker clarifying that this is a new scene. It's the end of the second chapter and I'm not sure how old the girls are. At the beginning I thought they where young adults, but as I read they seemed to be much younger. Maybe give some clarification? Overall great job! If you're interested in reading fantasy I would love to get your thoughts on my story, "A Necromancers Dream". https://www.inkitt.com/stories/1046587 Keep writing! I look forward to seeing the next chapter."

Great but need more polishing

"The premise of the story is interesting, but I feel like when reading it that the pace was going a bit fast. Most of the time, I didn’t understand what was happening and what was the danger. A lot of the dialogue could be reworked to clarify what is happening. I believe some of them to be a bit unnecessary. The chapters are a bit too long and drawn out. I like the bond between the sisters, but their personalities could be put forward. Same for Aunt Bell. Your writing is good, but sometimes it lacks subtility. It’s better to show your character's feeling rather than tell it outwardly. Your fiction has a lot of potential. It just needs more structure and polishing! "

"I love the name "Harlow" for a character, it's super unique. I think the story does move a little too fast, though, I honestly had a hard time following the plot and figuring out what was going on since it seemed to change so quickly. I think slowing down and maybe taking a more linear timeline approach might be more helpful (or simply having a shorter flashback of how whitney met her mate and the whole thing with pack membership) - which, on that note, I feel like I didn't really understand what was going on with the whole pack membership thing. I think more time needs to be spent worldbuilding, especially since each werewolf story is structured differently in how packs work and all that, so you can't assume the reader already know since other stories do it differently - so make sure you explain that a little better. I did see quite a few issues with punctuation, especially where commas are needed but aren't there, but should be fixed with a round of editing. Ultimatley, I think if you slowed things down, put a little more context into what their world is like, and maybe adjust the order of events, the plot and your writing style will shine through a bit better. Hope this helps and keep up the good work!"
