CHAPTER-1
THE BEGINNING

It was early dawn when James returned home. As usual the place was empty and cold. He dropped the shiny bag he was carrying,and proceeded to open his party wear. It was always hectic when the royal family threw parties in the middle of the night and he had to attend. His parents were in Avenel kingdom, signing an alliance with the royal family there on behalf of the king and queen of the Nightingale kingdom (The kingdom where James lived) who were in Wolverton kingdom, attending another matrimonial alliance. The Bratty prince, Tristan whom James hated from the bottom of his heart called a special party and it was just for tasting sweet blood mixed with wine. It tasted great to James and he thanked the guy for the invitation but he should have informed the guests beforehand. James hated to skip his work. Yes,he worked at an ice-cream parlor. Only night shifts.
James dropped on his bed. "Why can't I find my mate yet? I have so many things I want to do with him or her or them. Aish all my friends have already found their mates. What's the point of being a social butterfly if I cannot even find my mate? Well I am supposed to find the person before my first heat. What if my mate is from an enemy kingdom?" James was worried about all the mating stuff but what he didn't know was that his mate was someone he already knew well enough.
AFTER A WEEK
James drove to school. He's still in his last year of high-school. His semester was supposed to end after the results came out. Today he was strangely asked to report to the office to know about some things. Apparently he was the only unmated,unclaimed Omega on campus who didn't even try to find his mate.
As James entered the office,another kind Omega,the principal smiled at him. There was a dark red mark on his neck which showed that he was mated. James held the urge to bitterly chuckle.
The principal started speaking, "Mr James Gold,you have not yet found your mate but your heat will come just a week after your birthday. It's already the 5th of October and your birthday is in a week. I would like to ask you something, Noble Gold would you like to know who your mate is" James kept his head down. His breathing was slightly ragged as he nodded. After a while,the name that left the other Omega's mouth felt like a nightmare to James. He fell to his knees. He didn't even care what the principal thought about it. There was no way in hell that...that bastard was his mate..There was surely some mistake in the records. He had so many dreams about his mate. Obviously looks mattered but looks are not everything and this person only matched the height and looks criteria of James. He didn't even have the main thing- Character.
