Dating Witches
Hi, my name is Ryan. I’m a 35 year old male living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I’m a fairly normal guy, I think. I go to work, I have my hobbies, I like to travel. All that generic boring stuff you’d see on a dating profile. However, there’s something different about me. It’s a strange, yet at times, hilarious phenomenon. Technically, it doesn’t even have anything to do with me. I always seem to date witches. They just pop up out of nowhere. They like to swipe right on my generic dating profile. Sometimes I find out they are a witch on the first date. Others it’s a few months in. It’s at the point now where I pretty much expect it. In fact, the reason I decided to write this book was because it came up on a first date I was on recently. I was telling her that I always seem to date witches. Don’t get me wrong, I’m open to dating whoever, but witches just seem to keep coming into my life. She laughed and said that was her. Because her grandmother was in a Mexican witch cult and that she too had some kind of witchcraft inclination. I put my head in my hands and proclaimed, ‘there it is!’. My best guess would be the majority of the women I have dated are witches or have some kind of witchcraft inclination. Some are very aware and embracive of their culture. Others, not so much. Some aren’t aware of their ‘gifts’ and are too afraid to explore that side of themselves. We each have our spiritual journey to explore, and I am a believer that everything happens at the right time, according to ‘The Universe’. In short, this book is a small collection of some of the witches I’ve dated. I’ve dated a few over the years, but some stories are far more fascinating than others. For the purposes of this book, I have compiled what I consider to be the most intriguing of the bunch.
First things first. There is no scientific way to prove anything I speak about in this book. That’s usually how it is with the nature of the occult. I’m confident that one day science will be able to prove these claims and others. But just know if you are a sceptic and need scientific proof, you’re not going to get it. You’re going to have a hard time believing some of these stories. I can present evidence of my claims. But my intentions aren’t to start a crusade for scientific validation of witches. It is to share some interesting stories and a general sense of who and what witches are. So, if you are a hardcore sceptic, here is my advice. Take it with a grain of salt. It’s best to sit back and just view this book as entertainment. I know a lot of very sceptical people who love conspiracy theories. They know the world isn’t flat and bigfoot isn’t real. But it can be fun to read about and hypothesise upon. Just allow your imagination to run wild and just enjoy the stories for what they are. I myself used to be completely sceptical of anything to do with the occult. However, I have witnessed things that have rocked my core foundations. Our beliefs and opinions always evolve with time. Mine have evolved to the point where I am writing a book on witches. That should tell you whether I believe in them or not. Spoiler alert I do.
Secondly, I do not have a degree from Hogwarts! We all wish we could go there and learn. How cool would that be? As much as I have learnt about witches and spirituality, I still don’t know jack shit. Simply put, I AM NOT A WITCH. I have spent a lot of time learning about witches and their culture first hand. But I am by no means a witch expert. I’m very aware that my descriptions are not going to be fully accurate. The nature of this subject is very subjective. Research some experts in this field and you will find a wide varying of opinions. Many are contradictory to each other. That’s not to say some are right and some are wrong. Spirituality is the journey of oneself. What works for one person may not work for another. My assumption is that some witches reading this may debate or flat out disagree with my explanation of this subject. I apologise in advance if I do so poorly or offend in any way. That is not my intention. As I mentioned earlier, my intention is to share some interesting stories I have collected over the years. However, I feel compelled to share some basic knowledge on the subject. Not everyone who reads this book is going to be a witch or a witch expert. So, for those who aren’t, I’m sure they’ll appreciate some basic info on witches and spirituality. Simply put, the things I write about in this book are in ‘layman’s terms’. If you are someone who disagrees with my explanations or opinions, my advice was as before. Just enjoy it for what is. We may disagree but enjoy that people are taking an interest. I am attempting to explain your world in a way the average person can digest and comprehend. Also note that Witches have been victims of so much discrimination over the centuries. The more we share knowledge and shine light on them, the more open and accepting the world will become of them.
OK. Now that we have the ‘disclaimers’ out of the way, it’s time to talk about what it’s like to date a witch. I hate to disappoint you, but it’s not that much different from dating a ‘normie’. People are people at the end of the day. There are good relationships, ok relationships and bad relationships. One’s that you’re not sure about. Others where you feel they are truly the love of your life. That’s been all fine and dandy in my life. Except for one thing. These witches I have dated have something called ‘highly developed intuition’. I’ll explain intuition deeper in a later chapter. For now, what I’ll say is that these women possess mind blowing powers. Powers that can only be described as otherworldly. I’m talking about psychic predictions. Mind reading. Seeing objects out of view. Communicating with the dead. Predicting the future. Past life readings. Healing powers. Even deleterious powers. It’s like they have a sixth sense, and it is just as strong as the other five. It sounds like something straight out of a movie. Total make belief. Right? All I can say is If you don’t believe this stuff, you will after you date a witch!
These powers sound incredible to possess. But it doesn’t always make life easier. In fact, I’d say most of the time these witches’ lives are harder because of it. These women have a huge burden upon them. It can be very detrimental to themselves and their relationships. Many that I’ve met are wary to talk about their ‘powers’. Sometimes it can be quite difficult for them to open up. When they do it is often very liberating for them. Just like any other intimate details about oneself. You need to trust the person you are telling. Unfortunately for them and many other people in the world, they have learnt not to trust people. I’ve heard plenty of stories about these witches’ exes. Some have been downright abusive about the matter. Imagine you had supernatural powers. You’d be reluctant to share those out of ridicule, fear and judgement. When you did share these with someone you trusted, you’d be deeply hurt if they ridiculed, feared or judged you. It’s not an easy thing to recover from. It’d be hard to share them with someone new you trusted. Yet alone with society. Even in 2023 most of society still isn’t open to matters of the occult. They laugh it off as complete nonsense. You don’t have to believe a word of what I say. But if it were true, imagine what it’d be like to be able to read people’s thoughts and feelings. Or predict the future. Or be able to heal or hurt people by simply thinking it. People would fear you. They’d think you were a freak or the spawn of Satan. Some witches I’ve dated have received countless death threats. It doesn’t end there. The people who do believe you can be even worse. They ask an endless sea of questions and advice. Will my ex take me back? Am I going to have children? Will I be rich? One witch I dated would give a dozen readings a day to the same friend. She had become co-dependent on her readings. She feared doing anything without her advice. She wanted to help, but it became exhausting for her. With great power comes great responsibility. These powers were put upon them. They had no choice. Yet they must deal with the consequences. Seeing someone you love to go through all this really opens your eyes.
It’s not all bad though. The reason they have these powers is to help people, and a lot of people want their help. Problem is that people aren’t open to hearing what they need to hear. They only want to hear what they ‘want’ to hear. Witches want to help them. But as much as it is rewarding, it can be very frustrating. Most people aren’t open to information that doesn’t comfort them. Unfortunately for them, a lot of healing comes in the form of the painful truth. Although this is not the limit of a witch’s healing. Most help through clarifications, insight and psychological healing. Some through physical means such as manifestation and physical healing. Witches will go to the ends of the earth to help someone in need. Often exhausting themselves and their ‘powers’. They would give the shirt off their back to help someone in need. They truly live for this. It is truly inspiring. I could only imagine if more of society was like this. Whether it be through charity or community work. It’s an incredibly rewarding feeling when you help another person.
So how does this all apply to a relationship? I don’t mean to sound selfish, but it can get the way sometimes. I want the best for my partner. I want them to grow and learn and succeed in whatever path they choose to do. I’ll do whatever I can to help them get there. But it’s not always easy. People vent about their frustrations, but these vents aren’t easy to absorb. The shit they deal with is horrific to hear. You’re just trying to have a nice day together. Take our minds off the world and just enjoy each other. But then some nutcase will send them a death threat or say they need to be saved by Jesus. It can throw a curveball into our intentions for the day. It’s not like coming home at night and venting about your boss or your friend. These attacks are deeply personal. It’s like someone making ill of a disabled person. Not cool man! Not to say witches are disabled, but they have an anomaly that is different from others. Anyway, I will always do my best to be there for someone I truly care about. Like water off a duck’s back. You simply make a joke about the attacker and move on like nothing happened. At least that’s what I think is the mature thing to do.
I do feel a little in the shadows at times. Again, I’m aware of how selfish this sounds. I’ll wait patiently while my partner is doing her thing. She’s giving a reading, manifesting or healing. My job is to sit there in moral support and help in any way if I can. However, I can’t really help. I don’t have their ‘powers’. It’s not that I necessarily want them. But I would want them to help whomever I am dating to achieve what they are trying to do. Despite this they are usually appreciative that I’m there to share the experience with them. It’s an experience to do such a vulnerable thing with your partner and a stranger. I help in whatever ways I can. Moral support. Cracking jokes to lighten the tension. Giving a layman’s perspective. Helping them setup booths (one ex of mine does tarot readings at conventions) so I’ll unload, build and reload all the equipment. I know this all sounds rather pedantic. These are things most people would do for their partners. But it’s what I can do. After all my experiences I’ve learnt that my role is simply just to be as helpful and supportive as I can be. They have a very important role here on planet Earth. They are here to help, and I will do what I can to help them.
Now, when you have a girlfriend who’s a witch, they are going to tell you things. Things about yourself. Things that are really intriguing, and you ask to hear more. Others not so much. When they look into you, they can see things that you cannot see yourself. They can see your deepest feelings, your traumas, your hidden intentions. They can also see things beyond yourself. Your past lives, your spirit guides, your spirit’s purpose on earth. It can make for some swell moments when she tells you something joyful and uplifting. It’s an extremely deep spiritual bond when two people connect this way. However, when it’s not so good, it can create some tension. I do my best to be open minded, but it’s hard when they hit a sore spot. It’s easy to become defensive and dismissive. Sometimes it can flat-out feel like an invasion of privacy. I will admit there were times when I was younger, I snapped. Saying they are wrong and for them to ‘get out of my head’. But as I’ve aged, I’ve learnt self-reflection and self-awareness is a wonderous thing. If you ever hear something you don’t like, it’s best to ask yourself why. You’d be amazed at what you’ll discover about yourself. One thing I hear all the time from witches in relation to this is ‘Shadow Work’. It’s self-therapy. You write down difficult questions about yourself and write the answer. You’ll be amazed at what things you didn’t know were in your subconscious mind. If you’re curious, just go ahead and give it a google.
Another thing interesting about dating witches, is what happens when you piss them off. There’s an old saying. Women expand things. Give them some groceries, they will give you a meal. Give them a house, they will give you a home. Give them any shit… I’ll let you use your imagination for the rest. I don’t go around breaking women’s hearts. But I have made mistakes and hurt people before. I’m only human after all. When I was younger, these ‘mistakes’ were more intentional. Now as I’m older, shit just happens sometimes. If something happens, you just be an adult and talk things through. But we are emotional beings and things do get heated. My advice to anyone reading this... Do not piss off a witch! (Don’t piss off any woman for that matter). If you make a mistake, tell them. Talk it through. Don’t give some lame excuse or say you’ll change. Just man up and tell them the truth. Because if you don’t, you run the risk of their dark side. They are amazing and powerful creatures. But don’t think that society doesn’t fear them for a reason. They have the ability to make your life a living hell. Curses are very real. You’ll find out more about this in a later chapter. This doesn’t mean that they are going to destroy society and we should burn them at the stake. After all I’ve experienced, I am still more afraid of harm from a ‘normie’ versus a ‘witch’. Spirits can be manipulated to mess with and harm you. But a spirit in the flesh (a human) can do much more harm than a non-flesh spirit. I’m a little embarrassed by one of the curse stories I’m going to tell you later. But hey, you’re paying good money to be entertained here.
I saved the best for last in this chapter. What is sex like with a witch? Well in short, it’s fucking incredible. Now don’t get carried away thinking their ‘powers’ enhance things. There is no sex curse or magic wand they can wave around. Although that would be cool. What makes sex with them so great is the emotional connection. Most women need some sort of an emotional connection before they get intimate with someone. Given it’s not a drunken hook-up or something of that nature. The emotional connection between them and their partner gives them feelings of trust, comfort, belonging and vulnerability. A witch who is a woman feels all these things. However, the difference between a regular woman and a witch is their highly developed intuition. People who have this are extremely susceptible to others’ emotions. It’s like being the ultimate empath. You are literally inside someone else’s mind, feeling everything as they do in the moment, past and future. They are very sensitive and feel everything deeper than the average person. How this applies to love making is it creates an almost electrifying connection between the two of you. Your minds have an almost telepathic connection. She not only feels and perceives what you are doing to her, but she senses this in an intuitive, empathic and telepathic way. Every little touch. Every little moan. Every ounce of your desire is felt by the witch. She feels these things and exerts it back tenfold. Don’t get me wrong. This doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t have sex with someone who doesn’t have a highly developed intuition. Or to say it is better. But these qualities are something that cannot be replicated easily. Unless you have an extremely deep connection that you’ve taken months, if not years to achieve. Even still there is just that little something that is missing. Witches by nature are very giving people. If you turn that around by giving back to them (use your imagination here) they will appreciate it and reward you greatly. I don’t say this as a manipulative thing. I found out for myself by chance. Upon exploring witches in a sexual nature, I came to understand how to open their hearts and fulfil both our sexual and emotional desires. It’s a truly magical and life changing experience. If you happen to meet a witch and you both are interested in building a relationship, you may just experience it for yourself.
