"Enjoyed that the author uses simple language- sometimes one just wants to read something and not have to decipher figures of speech or use a dictionary- lol. The plot moves along at lightening speed, and while I personally prefer lengthier stories, if you’re looking for a short, lighthearted and easy read that has no dizzying twists and turns, ‘Checking You Out ‘ is that. P.S- Would have liked for Jake to have more of a back story. "
