Memories of a life on the brink of collapse.
Surrounded by darkness, where the only thing he felt was sinking deeper and deeper into it, the comfortable, tranquil, and solitary darkness. In his final gasps of life, each breath that escaped his lungs caused unimaginable pain, but none of it mattered anymore, for he carried a pain and regret that gnawed at his soul.
They say that in the last moments before death, one’s entire life flashes before their eyes, but he only saw the happiest moments he had experienced. His mother, Samantha, who had protected him and given everything of herself so that her only son and treasure could live a happy life.
When his strength faded and life left his body, in that instant, he only remembered the face of the one who had made his life and his mother’s a living hell: Carl Jul, his greatest object of hatred. The one who had wanted to kill him in the most agonizing way possible and subject him to the cruelest and most painful torture he knew. He was the one who inspired him, the one for whom he had teetered on the edge of death countless times to exact his revenge. But he was also his “FATHER.” With the memory of his father, life left his body, submerging him further and further.
An inert body, joined by an anchor nearly of its own size, descended deeper and deeper... to what is known as the deepest point in the world, the Mariana Trench. Unbeknownst to him, at the deepest point lay a creature whose mere presence would make nations tremble. The creature had no specific form, but its size was unreal. It remained motionless, awaiting the call of the world’s end, when its power would be unleashed.
“How much longer must I wait to be freed from this place?” the creature pondered. It didn’t know how long it had been sealed away, only to preserve the reproduction of that sinful, aggressive, noxious, and destructive species called humans.
“I don’t understand why Father granted them free will and the right to rule this planet, when all they do is destroy. I don’t understand,” the creature thought.
Lost in its thoughts, the creature’s senses detected an inert being drawing nearer and nearer, one of the beings it despised the most: a human. The approaching being was no more than the essence purified by the pressure of the place it descended from.
When the being, or rather the pure one, touched the creature, a change occurred in the surroundings, and the creature was able to move, albeit ever so slightly. It was able to witness all the memories, feelings, and experiences of the pure one, and suddenly, an uncontrollable laughter emanated from the creature.
“Hahahaha... I can’t believe such an insignificant human can contain so much hatred and love at the same time. Perhaps you will be useful to me,” the creature said.
“I will grant your soul a little power so you can achieve your great revenge, Jeremy,” the creature continued.
“But remember, when you attain your cherished revenge, it will be the BEGINNING OF THE END OF YOUR WORLD. Hahahahahaha.”
