I strolled down the streets of Tokyo, listening to an audio book.

I sighed as I got onto the train, and several (A) bloods perked up, but when they smelled that I was type (B), they looked away with disappointment.

My name is Haru Suzuki, and I will talk about my life.

And how I got my Bonded Mate.

My scent is Rose Petals, which is why so many type (A) bloods were so attracted to me, it is a rare scent for type (B) bloods, because mostly type (O) bloods have it.

(B) bloods were mostly stepped on, since they didn’t have very good scent, but they were good at producing offspring, but type (A) bloods liked the (O)’s for their smell more than how much young they will produce.

I was lucky enough to only be courted once.

And it wasn’t my fault.

But I won’t delve into that.

Right now, I had to get home to get ready for my podcast.

I liked to read books on a microphone, and was very popular for it too, because I didn’t want to get caught if I had a camera.

The reason is that many years ago, I was framed for copying someone’s book, when I remembered writing it myself very clearly, but they never believe type (B) bloods, and so I was downgraded, reduced to living in a small apartment to write my books, but I never published them, for fear of being copied again, I instead read them to the kids, and they seemed to enjoy them.

I have long silver hair, and I have been growing it for so long, that it’s almost at my waist, I also have purple eyes, and many people trying to court me tell me I look very unique.

I hurried home, my hood over my face os I wouln’t get called out.

When I got to the lobby, I noticed that the lady who was usually by the desk was shivering in a small corner.

“Gabby, what’s wrong?” I called as I passed her.

She was an American transfer student, and so when she was really scared, often talked in English instead of Japanese, so I didn’t understand what she was saying.

“Well, I’ll talk to you later Gabby!” I told her, waving as I resumed my trek to my apartment.

I went up the stairs, hardly noticing the limited flow of tenants that usually occupied the halls.

And then I noticed that my door was slightly ajar.

Are we being robbed? I thought, a chill running down my spine, and a bead of sweat drifted down my face, I pushed it open.

“H-hello?” I called out in a squeaky voice, it was all dark, so I couldn’t see anything, but suddenly, I was pushed inside, rather abruptly, and the door closed and locked behind me.

I shivered, and then one of my lamps was turned on.

I gasped when I saw the man sitting in my chair.

His name is Kaito Sasaki, and he is the first who courted me.

He has spiky dark brown hair, and he wore a mask, like all (A) types do, but it was decorated, because he’s rich, which makes him able to do anything he wants, and he wore a suit.

I trembled as he moved his finger, obviously alerting the guard at the door to bring me closer, and they did, seizing my arms and dragging me closer ot him, until he could touch my face.

“So.. Haru.” He said quietly, but I turned my head away, shutting my eyes as a tear rolled down my cheek, and he trailed his fingers over my face, rubbing it away.

“I want you to come with me.. And be my Bonded Mate.” he told me, leaving no room for negotiations, but I shook my head.

“I-I can’t.” My voice cracked, and I looked into his face, searching it, he had the most beautiful ruby red eyes.

I pursued my lips. I’m getting beside myself.

“And why’s that?” He asked icily.

“I-I have a job.” I lied, but he shook his head.

“Your lying.” He said quietly, and I looked away in distress.

“I just.. I just don’t want to go with you!” I told him.

“Is it because-” He leaned in closer, “-Your scared of what I might do to you?”

“M-maybe..” I trailed off.

“You should know, that you don’t get a choice in this, your father wants you to.” He told me.

What?! I thought, my mouth dropping open slightly, but he closed it.

“Are you surprised that your own father would sell you off, to me?” He asked, his eyes going wide in amusement.

I felt a sob rising in my throat, but I choked it down.

“Please don’t make me go with you!” I begged, now on my hands and knees, since the bodyguards had dropped me.

“Well, I want you, so it’s not about you at all.” He told me simply, and at that moment, I felt like an item, being sold with the flick of a switch.

“All you have to do is say yes.” He whispered in my ear, making me shudder.

“Fine.” I choked out in a small voice.

“I knew you would come out eventually, well anyways, get his stuff, and meet me at the house.” he told one of his bodyguards, who nodded to me, and then Kaito left with his other bodyguard, leaving me crying on the floor.

“Get up.” The other one said in a deep voice, toeing me with his boot, and I complied, weak as I stood up, and let him lead me to a car that was waiting, while he went back to get my prized possessions.

I waited in the car for a while, almost an hour, and I almost fell asleep, but knowing that if I fell asleep, I would wake up and wouldn’t have freedom, because Kaito would have me.

So I stayed awake, knowing that every second that ticked off the clock, the closer I would get to being imprisoned.

Finally, the guard came, he loaded my stuff into the trunk, and then got in the drivers seat, driving us away towards wherever Kaito lived.

Where I lived now too. I thought glumly.

I laid my head on the window, watching as lights whizzed past, blurred from the rain that was now pouring.

I wanted to scream.

I wanted to scream so loud that the police were alerted and they would take me away from this.

Away from this hell.

But I knew they wouldn’t help, because I’m only a (B) blood, and (B) bloods weren’t counted as human beings.

They were just toys for the rich to play with.
