This story started as a short story. “Nine chapters, that’s about it, 15k words, yes.” Yeahhhh so I have a problem with writing little stories, so this one grew up to be 80k words long with 50 parts and a double-pov [Edit 2025, now 105k words]
This story has quite a heavy themes, but it is a healing journey, so I hope you enjoy it <3

Trigger Warnings (with spoilers):
Physical/Verbal Abuse and Violence - This is the major trigger warning since the story starts with these scenes and will continue as flash-backs
Self-Harming and Suicide - there is no self-harming, and the MCs are not suicidal, but Randall will have a panic attack that will cause him to try to end his life in chapter 8
Language - Very strong language with a lot of degrading and homophobic words
Violence - The story will start with violence and a stabbing, and there will be flashbacks, in both Randall’s and Cole’s pov
Alcohol and Drugs - Alcohol will be used (the setting is a gay bar), no drugs
Sex - Consensual sex scenes between males
