Zhu

I went to sleep and woke up sitting close to the moon.

I laid back in red sand and noticed someone was holding my hand. His name is Zhu; the man who comes to my dreams. He smiled with kindness and said, "You ready to go space jumping with me again."

I was wearing heavy anti-gravity boots, meant to keep me from flying loose should I get away, far from the ground while we play... I smiled back at him and said, "Okay."

We were still holding hands. I should say, he was holding mine because his hands are so much greater in size. For a while, I thought he could be some "Giant" people's king. But, he isn't a giant maybe, a king.

A tall well built man - physically fit with a body in proportion to a tree. He was wearing a red cape tied around his neck. With boots similar to mine. I think, he is 7 ' feet tall and next to him, I'm really small. I comforted myself in his masculine appearance, surmising his strength.

I trust him to handle things should they get out of control. He flipped me around and up with one hand to ride on his shoulders then, teasingly said. "Hold on tight or you can fall. I'd never see you again after, you float away."

The stars are hard diamonds with sharp, sharp points. Though, softly they glisten gold colored light brightening the night. And light our way along the starry path, to the moon.

Zhu ran to the top of the highest sand dune. I screamed scared excitement bouncing on the way up. My arms holding on around his neck with my legs crossing over his shoulders bent. My hands quickly grasping at his, getting ready to cup and lock fingers.

He skipped and danced along the starry path. I screamed with excitement we laughed and laughed, each time he jumped. I could feel a tickle when I bounced, then Zhu pulled down toward him again. But, only for a moment before, he leaped again.

"If I lost grasp, I be stuck in space - floating away from him" he could see in my face, that's what I was thinking. He mouthed without speaking, "I got you, don't be afraid." "What if you make a mistake." He mouthed the same thing, again. I was pleased to know.

At the end of the path, tumbling as we landed rolling to a stop. At the bottom of the hill pouring out the sand in our boots, we sat talking about how thrilling and fun. Then we lay back smiling tired from the run. We were close to the sky where the moon lives without sun. I drifted with soothing motion, moving inside. A magnetic pull from the moon, making us one with it's tide.

I must of fallen asleep before, Zhu. I vaguely remember being lowered into my bed. A kiss on my forehead.

I opened my eyes briefly to see a flash of red cape, as he exited the scene. I said "Bye, bye Zhu." I will see you next time we meet. I wondered when I woke up, where he goes when, he sleeps.
