Operations
I sat and watched the play, and I really was impressed by how well all of the performers were doing!
Then the play ended, and I applauded the performers, and then I bought some snacks from the snack booth and then headed home.
Once I got home, though, I was surprised to see my girlfriend knocking on my door, and I said, “Hey, my love!
I’m over here!…
You’re home early!…
Too bad that I didn’t know that earlier or else I’d’ve offered to take you to the play that I just saw!…” and then my girlfriend said, “Hey, my dear!…
Yeah; I just got home, but my home got overrun by thugs when I was gone and so I headed over here instead of going home…”
“Thugs, eh?…” I said, “Can we call the cops and let them deal with it?…” and then she shook her head and said, “Naw…
See; I come from a mafia family, and I don’t want the cops getting too interested in me or my family…” and then I frowned and said, “I love you no matter what, but this does raise some questions…
Shall we go inside of my abode and talk about this?…” and then she smiled happily and said, “For sure!…” and so I then opened the door to my abode, and the 2 of us were soon drinking tea and discussing this mafia business…
“And so were you ever involved in any mafia operations, or were you just the child of a mafia family and nothing more?…” I asked; and then she said, “I never did any operations or anything like that, no.” and then I said, “Ah, good.
And I guess it might be tempting to involve your mafia family in an attempt to retake your abode from those thugs; but that would mean you kinda getting involved in mafia business, wouldn’t it?…” and then she nodded and said, “Yup…
And so I can’t call the cops, can’t call the mafia, but I can call my boyfriend!…, lol.” and then I smiled reassuringly and said, “You’ll always be able to call on me, Tess.” and then she leaned towards me and gave me a kiss, and then she said, “Thanks, Greg!
You’re a great boyfriend, and you’ll always be able to call on me too!…” and then suddenly! a voice from outside of my abode said, “Tess!!
Get out here!
We weren’t waiting at your home for the fun of it; we need to be able to hold you captive so that we can get a ransom from your parents for you!…” and then I walked over to where my gun was at, and I went upstairs so that I could aim at the attackers through an open window, and then I shot the thugs who were at our door.
Then I went back downstairs to Tess and said, “It seems like there’ll probably be more thugs arriving before long, and so let’s get the hell out of here now…” and then she nodded in a shocked sort of way and said, “I have a hidden car not far from here that they won’t be able to recognize, and so we can use it to flee; and then we’ll probably eventually wanna get in touch with my parents to find out if they have any idea what’s going on…” and then I said, “And what should we do about the bodies that are on the porch?…” and then Tess said, “Ummm…
I bet that the other thugs will probably hide them, and so the police probably won’t even get involved or anything…” and then I said, “Fair enough…
I sure hope that the police don’t find out and end up thinking that I committed murder…” and then Tess shook her head and said, “I started a video recording as soon as you grabbed the gun, and so I have video proof that they were trying to attack us when they got shot.” and then I felt a bit relieved; and then I said, “That was smart of you to do!
Good job!…
And now, let’s leave before more thugs arrive…” and so then Tess and I ran off; and she led the way because she knew where her hidden car was; and then we soon reached the hidden car, got inside of it, and Tess began driving; and we were soon far enough away from my abode that I felt reasonably confident that for the moment at least we were pretty safe from the thugs who wanted to capture Tess and who would probably now want to murder me since I’d killed some of their fellow thugs…
