Which killer is THE killer?…

So far, I’m about 5 and a half chapters into this book, and it’s definitely got me hooked!

There are lots of intriguing (though mostly very evil, of course) characters, and the story keeps on moving at a good pace while also giving backstories of many of the characters.

I honestly have no clue who killed Wanda Day yet, but I certainly plan on reading the rest of this book in hopes of finding out!

Very Suspenseful…

This story is very well written, and got me thinking about people’s different perspectives, and how one person’s reality can be so different from other people’s.

The story drew me in very effectively, and was quite suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat as I waited to find out what would happen next.

This is a great story, and I highly recommend reading it!

Suisen lives in a dangerous world…

This book is a prequel to the books about Kurai Okami, and it’s about Kurai Okami’s mom before she has any kids.

When the book starts, Suisen finds refuge with a pack of wolves that is led by Mister Okami.

It’s a dangerous world for wolves, because those who are afraid of being eaten by creatures such as wolves are always trying to hunt them down and make it so that they can’t hunt anybody down.

Life is still somewhat tough in Mister Okami’s pack, and they don’t always catch enough food for everyone to be able to eat, and of course they are always still being hunted themselves.

Mister Okami has a lot of qualities that are good, but he is also bad in some ways and will attack other wolves unfairly.

What will become of Mister Okami and his pack?, and how will society transform into the society that Kurai Okami will end up growing up into?

I am very much enjoying this book, and I highly recommend it and look forward to reading the rest of it!

Kurai gets a second chance at college life!…

After the first university that Kurai attends doesn’t work out so well, she ends up in a new university, and her and her mother have high hopes that she won’t get expelled this time.

Regardless of whether she might end up getting expelled eventually, she certainly lasts longer at her new university than she did at the first one, and she also enjoys using the university’s video recording tools to make videos.

Her videos end up being pretty popular, though there does end up being some controversy regarding her videos. She is not new to controversy regarding her art, however, because the art that she made at her first university ended up having some controversy in regards to it too.

She also has a younger sister now; and, while she is a bit flustered at times that her sister seems to cause her to get less attention from their mom, she is generally quite fond of her sister.

There are troubles that she has (including sometimes doing things without realizing that she’s doing them), and her mom does also take her to the hospital which goes pretty chaotically.

This book is mainly about two characters named Harley and Jason (though there are other important characters too) who get mixed up with some pretty bad folks in different ways.

Jason gets into the world of bad guys through his family being targeted, and Harley gets into the world of bad guys through her leaving her home due to conflict with her parents.

The plot is very intricate, and there’s a lot going on and a lot of interesting characters.

Because there’s a book 2, this book is to some degree setting the stage for what’s to come, and it definitely ends in a way that makes the reader eager to find out what happens in book 2!

Is Jamie’s hope that Scotty can become good a lost cause?…

This is a really interesting book, because Jamie (one of the McNeill brothers who also appears in other books by this author) very sincerely attempts to get Scotty (who is known for being a very villainous person) to become good.

Scotty plays along (presumably, only because he doesn’t have much of a choice though), and Jamie seems to think that Scotty has sincerely changed for the better.

Has Scotty actually changed for the better at all, or is he just totally faking because he feels like he has no other choice than to pretend to be good?

The story has many very clever scenes and characters, such as it raining ice cream and a there being a princess who disguises herself as she accompanies the McNeills on a mission.

Fun story, great characters, and deals with very important themes!

I’m only a few chapters into Lillian and Water Boy so far, but it’s already dealt with really heavy themes like our duty to care for the homeless, whether someone who has a history of doing terrible things can change into someone who’s doing really good things, how putting medical/scientific curiosity over ethics/morals can turn people into villains, how gambling addictions can have a very damaging effect on people’s lives, and more!

Don’t think that the presence of all of those powerful themes prevents the story from being very fun and playful, though; because we have an intriguing story setting where travel between worlds is possible, an intelligent and good-hearted girl who has a robot friend, and a couple of heroes who have different very clever powers that they use to help and save people.

A family gets more than they bargained for during their Christmas vacation because the living dead begin attacking them on the holiday!

Will the family members all survive and become more united as a family because of having to work together to survive the undead onslaught, or will some or all of them be killed by their attackers?

I’ve finished the first 10 chapters of this story so far, and am really enjoying it; and I highly recommend checking this book out!

A library that Roy loved reading books at turns out to be very scary and mysterious, and going into a forbidden room suddenly reveals a terrible horror.

Great characters, and a compelling plot!

I’m 8 chapters into this book so far, and it’s about two strangers who get stuck together because of a blizzard who quickly begin getting along really well and becoming romantically involved.

Things get complicated though, and the two of them have to work through their feelings to discover if they’re really meant to be or not.

The characters are very 3-dimensional, and I’m very interested to see how things go for them as the story continues.

I highly recommend this book, and am excited to find out what will happen next!

A battle for the ages!

Reading about the competition between Janessa and Chase is very exciting; and will have you cheering, booing, and wondering what will happen next and who the ultimate champion will be!

This book is extremely clever in how it weaves together the tale of their competition, and in how it gradually reveals more to both Janessa and to the reader about what is going on and what challenges our heroine faces!

Will she ultimately defeat the often-unlikable (but also often very good at laying on the charm!) Chase?, or will Chase have the last laugh? I’m excited to continue riding this roller coaster of a tale, and am certainly rooting for Janessa to win, but will have to wait to find out which side will emerge triumphant!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to enjoy a fast-paced adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat and excited to see how their battles will go next!

New beginnings…

The Nimble Virus is a fantastic book that has a very clever plot and very three-dimensional characters. Whether it’s a virus that impacts different humans and animals in very different ways, a spouse going undercover as a random chat room buddy in order to actually be able to get their spouse to communicate with them a bit, a married couple going from being trapped inside of a marriage to loving their marriage, or someone being a total jerk sometimes but then a total sweetheart at other times; The Nimble Virus has it all! I highly recommend checking this book out, and hope that you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.
