Anticipation
The world seems to stand still,
And I sit at the end of the Earth in anticipation.
Waiting for the planet to begin to spin again.
What I call 'normal' to start spinning, to return.
I feel my heart sadden as I remember the change,
I know in my soul... I just want things like they were.
I want normality to come running back to the world.
In a furious manner that brings me peace.
I need normality to flow into the world,
Like a beautiful ballet dancer on a stage.
For this silence,
This absence of peace- feels like torture.
I just want normality.
Please... give me normality.
