Chapter 1 VISIT
Mr and Mrs Mikael are having a discussion, Mr Mikael seems to focused more on the News displaying in the TV. Mrs Mikael furrow her eye brows.
"Whenever women are saying something important to their husbands, that's when they find the TV important "said Mrs Mikael" ( Mr Mikael look at her in disbelief)
"Was I not replying to you? Asked Mr Mikael.
"Thank God you said was. ( she hiss and stand up) "I was talking about our daughter future, but you were ignoring me, like I was saying trash.
" I never said you are saying trash. said Mr Mikael.
"Then what did you say? asked Mrs Mikael ( Mr Mikael sigh. she walked away. Knock on the door)
" Who could that be! Come in! ( The door open. A man dressed in security outfit walk in. he bow a little)
" Good day sir.
"What do you want? Asked Mr Mikael.
"A man is outside. He said he is a lawyer.
"Lawyer. You didn't ask him what he want.
"He mentioned that he is grandpa Sunny lawyer. ( Mr Mikael stood up) "let him in.
( The security walk out. The next minute a man dressed like lawyer walk in. Mr Mikael look at him wearily)
"Who are you? Asked Mr Mikael.
"I am grandpa Sunny lawyer, grandson ;Abdul. said Abdul.
"I thought you wanted say, you are his lawyer. Said Mr Mikael smiling.
Abdul laugh lightly. "How can I be? Asked Abdul.
"I would have asked if you don't grow old. or maybe the lawyership have been passed to you. Said Mr Mikael. ( Abdul look at him, without emotions. Noticing his look, Mr Mikael laugh jokingly). "He is like my grandpa. Maybe he is dead. it's possible. Said Mr Mikael.
" I don't think am here to waste my time. Said Abdul.
" What brought you here? Asked Mr Mikael.
( Abdul opened is briefcase. He brought out a file, he drop it infront of Mr Mikael. Mr Mikael opened it and read, he wide his eyes)
"What's this about? Asked Mr Mikael.
"Am sure you are not an illiterate. Said Abdul.
"The Furniture villages will belong to my daughter? Asked Mr Mikael.
"It belongs to both Jumai and Jubriel if they get married. Said Abdul.
"This is madness. Grandpa Sunny will never asked for such. Said Mr Mikael.
"According to grandpa Samuel, Mr Sunny wants the both of them to get married. He trained both of them. Their unity will bring more success to the business. Said Abdul.
"This is nonsense. Did Mr and Mrs Kabir know about this? Asked Mr Mikael.
"I will be on my way to them very soon. Said Abdul.
"The furniture villages will belong to them! Can they not share the business equally? Am not sure if any of them will agree to the marriage. Said Mr Mikael.
"You should find a way for them to get married. They will not be the only ones to gain. Your family with the Kabir family will have Five million billions each ( Mr Mikael wide his eyes) "If they don't get married in one week time, the business and the moneys will be giving away. The money will be shared to poor, while the business will be legally shared between somany orphanage. Said Abdul.
"The furniture village is not Ten. it's thirty-five. Said Mr Mikael.
"It will be shared twenty five percent each to all the orphanage, He mentioned. Said Abdul.
"He already set things up before he died, ha. What about is family. Said Mr Mikael.
"We both know, Jumai and Jubriel are is only family. Said Abdul.
"They are like siblings so they can't get married. Said Mr Mikael.
"He is not a fool to thought of marriage between them. They are not blood related or even distant relative. Said Abdul while standing up. He straighten his shirt. "Am done here. Said Abdul.
"You will be leaving? Asked Mr Mikael.
"You want me to stay? Asked Abdul ( Mr Mikael could only look at him) "You can go through it again and again. Talk to your family I will be leaving now. My number is in the file. call me, if she accept the marriage. Said Abdul.
"Of course she will. After all, Jubriel is her childhood friend. Said Mr Mikael ( Mr Mikael wore a smiling face till the lawyer walk out. He became panick) "Honey! Honey! Honey! Honey! ( calling out to Mrs Mikael. Mrs walking down the stairs)
"Why are you honeying me? Asked Mrs Mikael with a Angry face.
"Are you still angry about earlier? Asked Mr Mikael.
"Why were you calling out to me. Asked Mrs Mikael.
( Looking at her) "Mr Sunny lawyer grandson came here with a file. well it's Mr Sunny will.
( Mrs Mikael smile happily)
"You should have said so. I thought maybe you want to piss me off.This is a good news. Said Mrs Mikael.
(Mr Mikael shake his head, with a no happy face) " Why don't you look happy? Asked Mrs Mikael.
In other to get the money mentioned in the will, Jumai have to get married to Jubriel ( Mrs Mikael scream) " I know that it's wouldn't be possible. Said Mr Mikael.
"We can't even talk to her about coming home. Do you know how much she hates Jubriel. If we ever mention this to her, Am hundred percent sure she will never come home. Don't mention. How much is the money. Asked Mrs Mikael.
"Millions of billions ( Mrs Mikael staggered. she almost lost her balance, thanks to Mr Mikael who hold her hands immediately)
"Millions of billions. Hah. we most find a way. Said Mrs Mikael.
"We both know it's impossible. Said Mr Mikael.
"We will make her come home first. after that ( she pause her lip)
"Then what? Asked Mr Mikael.
"Talk to her about the marriage. Said Mrs Mikael.
"You want to get burn. Am not with you oh. We both know that she is the greatest demon on Earth. Said Mr Mikael.
"We will create a situation that will make her pity us. She is our daughter. seeing us in pain will make her do that. Said Mrs Mikael
"This is why I love you. You are wife. Only mine. We have to be quick. they is no time. Said Mr Mikael.
"Mr and Mrs Kabir will have to know first. let's ignore, like we know nothing. They will call first. That bloody Mrs Kabir love money alot.She will call when she finds out. ( Walking upstairs)
( mind) Am sure Mrs Kabir will tell her husband the same. if I wait then we will loose. ah. They is no time.
