Oh Christ, thy love divine, so pure and strong,
A love that fills my heart with endless peace,
Thy grace sustains me, and it guides me long,
It grants me comfort, and it brings release.
Thou giveth love beyond all earthly measure,
An unconstrained outpouring of thy heart,
Thy mercies new on every day's fresh treasure,
Thou art my hope and joy, my light and chart.
Thy love endured the cross, the pain, the woe,
And triumphed over death and sin the same,
Thy love, the fount of peace that all may know,
Restores and heals and purifies my shame.
Oh Christ, thy love transfigures and renews,
And makes my heart embrace thy will to choose.
