It happened on April 12, 1962. Kevin Hayday lost his father to cancer, he was only 12. His mother left them when Kevin was only 2. He was an only child and he was all alone. Not even his grandparents were nowhere to be found. Kevin had to live in an orphanage. It seems like no one wanted him. He lived pretty much by himself all his teens. After losing both of his parents, he completely lost it. No one knew how Kevin felt. He was lost in the world and he thought his life was over. At one point he even took a knife and was about to kill himself, because of how alone he felt. Someone who worked at the orphanage saw Kevin with a knife to his chest and the orphanage worker yelled “Kevin what are you doing, put down the knife!” Kevin looked over to her and shook his head, and drove the knife right through his chest. The knife shattered into pieces, and then he grabbed another knife and attempted to drive it into his head. It shattered into pieces also. Kevin eventually tried different weapons, guns, swords, rockets. However they all could not kill him. It was that day Kevin knew what he was in the world.

Kevin was just someone who lost everything he loved and he could not join his family. Sure he can be hurt, throwing a punch at him hurts, but it does nothing. Kevin was someone who needed to help the world, with the gift he had. Oddly, like his late father used to say to him, “Even if people go, the power inside of you will continue on.” Kevin finally understands what he was talking about now. When Kevin was 18, Aries himself came for Kevin because of the power Kevin wielded in him. Aries wanted the power of immortality so he would not die, Aries was a fool to go after Kevin though, Aries could not kill Kevin, Kevin could not be killed by a God, but if wielded by a human. The Blade of Aries would be more effective. With the blade of Aries, Aries was killed by his weapon when the weapon reflected off Kevin and into Aries head. Therefore making Kevin the rightful owner of the Blade of Aries. Which has the power to kill anyone, even if they are immortal. He even thought of using it on himself, but he couldn’t. Something inside of him told him not to do it.

In 1986 on the 31st of October, Kevin opened a PI firm for him to work at , so he could help rid the world of evil. (You’re probably thinking why did he not just become a cop?) Because Kevin had a gift, and this gift should not be shared with people of the law. Who knows they might lock him up for being too powerful due to the fact that he could not die, it was too risky. Therefore becoming a PI is the best and logical option instead of being; you know, a superhero like those comic books, Kevin did not want to be that kind of person with a bat costume on and running around like he’s some crusader with tights on. He wanted to show people that he is the one who stopped these criminals. Even though his parents are gone he wanted them to be proud of him even if he is a freak. He still wanted to be successful.

The first couple of days were just muggings but Kvein did not give up. On November 5, 1986, a man came to Kevin telling him about a murder, and the man told him where this murder was. When Kevin got to the location, the NYPD was there already but Kevin had access to the crime scene because he was a PI. Kevin asked the NYPD officer what happened and they told him. “It was multiple shooting, 12 bodies 11 by bullets and 1 by something else, maybe you can find how” but the officer then changed his mind and said “Actually you can’t because this is your first job,” Kevin responds “ Like that matters, tell your men this is my case now,” NYPD cop tells him “ Very well then, but take one of my men in blue, it’s his first day on the job too,” Kvein and the NYPD cop looked around. The last body was the most interesting because it was seemingly unrealistic. The body was torn into 2, split at the waist. It looks like someone ripped the body in half with their bare hands. Kevin could not make sense of it. He had to look closer. He put on a glove and stuck his hand into the body’s lower half and then into the top half and the top half had a piece of paper inside. The paper was difficult to read but the paper was called “Your Smart,” Kevin tried to read the rest of the paper, but he couldn’t, all he could read was “Good job, yo… h… found ou.. what this letter … an… I want ..u to co.. to” the rest of the paper had too much blood on it. You just could not read the rest of it. Kevin had to remove the blood. Then it said “53 Eastenburg dr.” The letter wanted him to go to this address, and so he did.

Kevin and the NYPD officer drove to 53 Eastenburg dr. The place was abandoned. There was no sign of anyone. Kevin started to walk to the abandoned house. There were stairs like they were brand new! Kevin knocked on the door and a strange and very tall man opened the door. Then he pointed them to the man who killed those people. It was dark inside but there was some lighting coming from outside from the moon. When we got to the room, there was someone who was in a chair in the dark and they said “Welcome Detective Hayday and Officer Blank. So you found the letter I put in the body.“ The man in the darkness was no man. It sounded more like a woman; Kevin thought, but women don’t run these kinds of operations to kill people. How could she? The power to tear a body into two, Kevin asks “Who are you?” The woman comes out of the dark and into the light and says “I am a woman of power, I am a woman who has killed hundreds of men and enslaved men for thousands of years, I am your mother, I am, Daisy Hayday,” Kevin took a step back and then he starts to breathe very heavily and how his mother is still alive and running a gang. Daisy walks over to Kevin and she hugs him, and then she says “I am so proud of you,” into Kevin’s ear, then she steps back from him.

This is how Kevin got his power to never die, he inherited it from his mother. She’s the one who had the powers. Her running a gang is why she left Kevin and his dad. She’s the reason why Kevin felt all alone. “So my son is a Private Detective, who knows my son will bring down my operation,” Daisy says to Kevin. Kevin was still confused but Officer Blank looked very scared like he was going to die tonight. Officer Blank has a wife and three kids. What will happen to those kids when they don’t grow up with a father? “Please don’t kill me,” Officer Blank said. Just then the big man who let them in picked up Officer Blank and threw him outside “You’re not needed,” the man tells him, Officer Blank starts to run off.

“Now that your friend is out of the way, you can help me move all the money from the people we killed earlier.” Daisy tells Kevin with a grin. Kevin starts to shake his head back and forth, Kevin could just not comprehend what was going on, his mom was a gang leader and well she’s alive! Kevin looks at her in a way that his mother doesn’t like and Kevin says “Sorry you have the wrong guy, my real mom left me when I was 2.” Daisy walks behind Kevin and whispers in his ear “Sorry to hear that,” and boom, Daisy punches her own son in the back and Kevin gets punched through a wall and into another room. Kevin puts his hands onto the ground to push himself up. Then he puts his leg up and puts his hand on his knee and stands up and turns around. He looks at his mother. Daisy steps through the hole where Kevin smashed through and said “Well Kevin I guess you’re not as strong as me. Your father was weaker, he died in a pathetic way, he was useless.” Kevin pulls out the Blade of Aries.

“Daisy, you’re no match for me even if you are stronger,” Kevin calmly says to her, Daisy smiles and jumps at him, and Kevin dodges her attack and then right before Daisy attacks him. Kevin throws the knife in her chest and causes her to bleed and not to breathe. She looks at Kevin and once again tells him “I’m so proud of you,” Kevin kneels and says “I know”. Even though Kevin was doing this job to stop crime, he knows no matter what, he will continue on stopping people who do crime around New York City.
