"Once again, another wonderful story! I liked Deke immediately. loved his sense of humour. The scenes in the bar, although well written, really disturbed me as I could not believe that anything like that could actually happen. Susan definitely needed rescuing! But I could relate to her in a way, having gone to an 'all girls' high school myself until we emigrated. She may have appeared 'innocent' but she still had a mind of her own and knew exactly what she wanted. I was impressed with Miss Chlders, and found her outspoken attitude quite refreshing . Perfect ending!"

"This story by far is the best of the series (Although I'm yet to read number 10). I'm so in love. You created a man that I'd say is every woman's dream of a "perfect man". Deke is nothing short of perfection and his actions and thoughts express that wonderfully. He is just so good. Susan and Deke's story is unfathomly amazing - the plot from the start indicates enigma and passion but also love endlessly deep love. Every small situation they face together undoubtedly brings them closer and closer and it's such a beautiful thing to follow as you read on. Their relationship, the bond they have is stronger than I thought possible to create in words. I'm uplifted. In the beginning Deke's thoughts about Susan are terribly repetitive - I'm unsure if this is to emphasise his endless love for her but I felt it was slightly overbearing at such an early point in the story. 😍😿Beautifully stunning.😻😖"

"A Mind of Her Own is a very effective, not to mention highly erotic, exploration of a first-time relationship, especially from within the heads of both participants. I found starting at the high point and then flashing back to the couple’s first interactions to be very enjoyable. Then there is a long plateau of coming closer with the eroticism kept just be low the boiling point. Interspersed there pleasing little details like the fact that the hero darns his socks or that the heat hit them like a hammer. The story is a wonderfully detailed exploit of initiating a virgin into coital intimacy balancing love, lust and the constraints of conventionality."
