Chapter 1

The wind blew through her dark brown hair while riding her blue mountain bike up the small dirt hill of her road, stones flew from how hard she peddled. Her eyes grew curious while skidding her tires to a shortstop after seeing a pair of huge steel gates at an entrance of a grassy trail she had never once gone down before. Staring up at the gate’s metal bars which would curve around the parallel bars like vines up toward the top of the metal gates.

It confused her making her blink a few times in wonder while hopping off of her bike. Moving it to the side of the road so as to not have it get destroyed by cars. Slowly walking up to the gates after kicking the kickstand down on. She observed the metal bars seeing moss growing over them. It looked rusted over from all the years it stood.

“Something must behind this.” She says while beginning to push on the iron gate as hard as she could. It wouldn’t budge even with her hands shaking the bars in irritation.

Beginning to get frustrated she would back up slowly. Determination on her slightly tan features then sprinted forward hard while jumping into the air like a spider monkey. Grabbing some of the bars a foot off the ground. Pausing for a few seconds to catch her breath, then carefully began climbing up the metal fence with ease.

Soon she reached the top, seeing a large area of dead trees on each side of a single dirt road leading somewhere. Sitting there looking at the treetops for a while then her gaze caught something. An orchard of dead trees hid the road as it led toward a large building quite a way away. Becoming curious she would climb down on the other side of the gate. As soon as her foot touched the ground she heard a slight shuffle of leaves coming from a few bushes making her freeze glancing at her surroundings.

Shaking it off as her just being paranoid while jumping down brushing herself off, “Now, what is this place? I’ve lived on this road my whole life. This must be something new I haven’t checked yet. But the gates looked like they had been there for centuries.”

Sighing in agitation beginning to walk while she looks around. Often looking behind her at the metal gate never able to get the creepy feeling of being watched to go away.

Walking down the trail instantly getting tackled out of nowhere by someone who screams, “Cute Girl!” In an excited tone. Clenching her teeth grunting at the pain in her chest while opening one of her eyes. Staring up at a teenage boy who looks so excited that if he had a dog tail it would be wagging to the extent of falling off. He cuddled her tightly as she took her fist and jabbed him in the side, “WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!”

Quickly standing up about to lunge towards him. Was about to bring her knee into his face but something stopped her. Her body had slowed down, falling down towards the ground and seeing the world suddenly begin to darken around her. Her brown eyes slowly closed as she began to think she was dying. She didn’t even have the interesting life she wanted to begin with.

~~Hour Later~~

A sudden smell of fresh roses flowed through the air like a sweet perfume making her nose twitch. Her eyes would begin to slowly flutter open but were blinded by the color of white. Wincing a bit she groaned sitting up.

“W...Where am I?” She would groan while rubbing her eyes with her arm, annoyance obvious in her tone.

“Clasford Academy.” A teen male voice would calmly respond to you.

Jumping a foot from the bed she was in, pinning herself up against the wall in shock. There was a teenage boy sitting by her bedside. He would blink at her as his long ice blue hair would be passed his shoulders going down to the middle of his back.

Confusion etched on his face while staring at her then shifted his seat back a bit to have her calm down- which didn’t help at all. Looking up at her, calm yellow eyes showed how sincere he was now, “I’m terribly sorry about Dave, he tends to show his... affection for girls a bit too forward.”

“Huh?” Her muscles began to loosen against the wall as she would scoot towards his direction but still inches away. Being very cautious of him. Remembering the teenage boy who tackled her. She did remember him having short brown hair and thought he had light green to light blue eyes. It wasn’t hazel that was for sure. Looking up at the teen now in front of her she wondered why in the world she was here in the first place.

He responds making her feel awkward and scared now, “I really don’t know know why you’re here.”

“U-Uh... what are you talking about?” She asks feeling her hands tremble from the fear his reply instilled.

“Oh, you asked why you were here, so simply I answered.” Innocently smiles at her. Kindly placed his chin in his palm which was propped up on his crossed knee laying over his other knee.

Frozen to where she sat on the bed, “I... I didn’t say anything...”

His eyes widened in realization softly gasping as she saw he was going to shift out of his chair to slowly move, but she quickly lunged for him. The boy jumps over her as she fell; chest first, into the chair. Making it flip hitting the floor hard.

She stood up quickly as he would back away holding his hands up in meaning no harm, “Please stay calm, I can explain myself!” His yellow eyes were wide backing up.

She stood up pointing an accusing finger at him but slumped down a bit from the pain shooting through her chest down her spine, “You... better explain yourself... or I’ll beat the truth out of you...!”

Panting heavily she fell onto one knee. He sighs calmly walking near her went to help her stand with his hands on her shoulders. Only to have them slapped away while she stood up moving back onto the bed herself, “Explain.” Rubbing her sore chest clearing her throat.

“Well...” He would pause setting the flipped chair back onto its legs having sat down on it while crossing a leg over the other again. Staring up at her piercing brown-colored hue stare, “To start off, this school used to be an elite school for the most prestigious students in the area but soon became just a school for the current students here.”

Hearing this made a suspicious brow raise staring at him, “On my road?”

He blinks honestly confused, “I don’t know what you mean.”

“This school... is on my road, I’ve lived on this road for years and never saw it once before and now I see it.” Her eyes sharpened at how serious she was being. “Tell me what is going on with this ‘school’.”

He would sit up straight while slipping his leg off his other. “How about you speak with the headmaster here, I think he can answer your questions.”

Slowly standing up walking towards the door. She sat there slightly hesitant for a few seconds, shoved her hands into her pockets deciding to follow him. Glancing around blinking a few times while seeing a guy staring at her. What had slightly slipped out of his mouth over his bottom lip was... wait was that a fang! What in the world? Turning her head to ignore him feeling fear envelop her insides. Following the teen in front of her who was silent, ‘Hey, I know you can hear me, so this school. What students attend?’ She asked him hoping for an answer watching the back of his head.

Turned his head slightly towards her but his gaze was not directed at her, ‘Well... let’s just say, unique students.’

‘Unique? Like that one student back there who was a VAMPIRE!’

His eyebrows raised in interest ‘Huh? Oh, you must have seen one of the unique ones. Yes, he is a vampire but while you’re here for the time being be wary next time you see him.’

Turning his head forward while he continued walking. Stopping in front of a pair of large wooden doors which said, ‘Headmaster’s Office’ He knocks on the wooden door, “Headmaster, there’s someone you should see.”

After a few seconds as she looks around the hall behind her,

“Come in.” was heard from a husky deep voice would be heard as he opens the door, and the both of them walked inside.

Glancing around the office there were a whole lot of dusty books in bookshelves on each side of the room then stared ahead. There was an old man sitting there staring straight at her. Awkwardness smacked her right in the face she turned her head to the side so as to not stare back at him so it wouldn’t show how awkward she was, “First question, what is this school and how in the heck can I see it on the road I grew up on?”

The headmaster cleared his throat as the student who decided to move into a chair just quietly watched, “Well miss, this school has the tendency of teleporting into different worlds, well mainly if I want it to.”

The headmaster cheerfully says with a friendly smile faintly seeing a pair of fangs but they looked dull but still sharp.

She would turn her head towards him when she heard him say ‘different worlds’ cocking a brow, “What? Worlds? What is this? A school for monsters or something?”

“Actually, yes.” The headmaster calmly responds and then looks over at the teenage human girl who blinks towards the headmaster in disbelief. Grinning at the icy blue-haired teen with not a care in the world, “Laquet, welcome our first human student.”

The now-named teen called Laquet and the girl’s eyes both widened in shock, “What?!”

“HOW IN THE HECK AM I A STUDENT? I ALREADY GO TO A HIGH SCHOOL! FOR HUMANS!” Threw a complete fit while slamming her fist on the desk. When that happened, the force of the punch made the thick oak desk crack slightly which caught her attention quickly pulling her slightly bruised hand back. Clearing her throat turning her head to the side keeping her eyes closed, “Anyway, I think it’s going to forward...”

“Hmm...” The headmaster was curious about the action that happened while he stood up calmly. Walking around his desk until he was in front of her. Staring at him she had to tilt her head up only slightly, “What?” Simply place the tip of his finger against her forehead.

Images from her mind flashed through his. It didn’t harm her, just put her into a trance. He saw how lonely she was when she was younger and the emotional pain. Her family seemed happy at first, her parents later started arguing and screaming. He saw how she wanted to cut herself but stopped. Pulling his fingertip away from her forehead, her legs became weak falling straight to the floor. “Now I see.”

Laquet stood up helping her to her feet while staring at the headmaster soon after, “What is it, headmaster? What did you see?”

“The strength she had, was complete and utter rage.” Simply says while closing his hand then stares at Laquet. “I think we might have a special student on our hands.”

Laquet sighs as he lifted her over his shoulder, “Headmaster, just don’t start anything too rash please?”

She was a limp noodle as her arms swayed with each movement he made.

“Of course, I don’t always do something rash.” Headmaster grins.

Laquet’s expression went blank while staring at him, “No you always do something rash.” Turning around leaving his office. “I’ll take her into the first dorm on the first floor.”

The headmaster froze at what Laquet had said, “He gets me every time... with that...” The door to his office closed behind him as Laquet walks down the hall.

The air was calm and sweet, laying on something soft. Stirring slightly while slowly opening her eyes. Staring up at the ceiling it looked like it was made of marble while staring at the design carved into the ceiling as if it were to tell a story. Sitting up she tilted her head while staring at the carving of a woman curled up in a ball with wings hovering around her. She looked beautiful, she blinks then shook her head, “Ah what am I staring at that for? Where the hell am I anyway?”Grinning at him with not a care in the world.

“Why am I here?” Screaming annoyed while punching the wall next to the bed. “I already go to a stinking school!!!”

She sulked smacking her head against the wall a few times.

A knock was heard on the door behind her as she merely glances at it, “Who is it...? I’m sulking...”

It was like there was a fog of depression hovering over her head as the door opens. A girl bounced with short-length brown hair. Smiling she walks over to her and instantly hugs her spinning her around,

“No sulking now! We need to pick up your friends to attend here as well! It’s been so long since we had human students!”

Stopping her spinning while she held her head trying to stare at the girl who curiously looks at her, “I don’t think we’ve gotten your name. May I please know?”

Glaring at the girl when the room stops spinning after a few seconds longer of standing still, “Why should I? Vampire?”

The girl just smiles kindly at her in a friendly manner, “Just because it would be the polite thing to do.” Simply implying.

Her eye twitched in irritation but sighs as she sensed she was being honest. Staying silent for a moment longer, soon gave her name, “It’s... Azaleigh Kurlet... yours?”

She beams as her eyes brightened “I’m Litia Smiths, a pleasure to meet you.” Litia softly smiles at her.

“So... about your idea... how are you gonna have my friends attend here.” Azaleigh questions walking up to her as Litia gets a cheerful yet creepy grin on her face. Azaleigh stops and steps a couple of ways away from her.

“You’ll see in a few days,” Litia murmured turning then skipping out of her room leaving Azaleigh standing there confused and slightly freaked out.

“Weird girl...” Azaleigh comments.

~~~Next Day ~~~
Walking into her new classroom, she was put with the other 2nd yrs. Closing her eyes she had a single strap of her backpack on one of her shoulders while sighing, “I can’t believe I have to wear a uniform... but... it is somewhat comfortable.”
Rapidly shaking her head frustrated then soon stopped when hearing her new teacher calmly call her in. Heaving a quiet sigh placing a gentle hand on the handle and slowly sliding it open. Walking inside, glancing at all the students, a lot of them were in awe when they saw her while others were just curious. Standing out in front of everyone while the teacher introduced her as the new human student and treat her kindly. Azaleigh kindly smiles soon calmly bowing and then slowly standing back up straight., “Hello, I’m Azaleigh Kurlet, please take care of me.”
Her teacher would look at the desks for a few seconds then smile holding out her hand, “There’s one free desk over by Kinnosuke near the back you can have.”
The boy with light brown hair with a single band-aid under his eye glanced up at her and then looked back down at his book uninterested. Azaleigh blinks but didn’t take much from it. Thanking the teacher she would walk over to her new desk setting her bag down next to her seat while she sat down.
“Let’s begin now.” She says beginning to write things down on the chalkboard.
Azaleigh would glance over at the guy next to her called Kinnosuke. He never stared at her but she wasn’t being rude or anything. She thought he was only ignoring her so she stared back at the chalkboard writing down a few notes. During class, she would turn the page in her notebook and then begin to doodle some random cartoons during the lecture.
Soon the bell rang which made her jump slightly she began to quickly put her stuff in her bag.
“First period is over now off to the next period...” Azaleigh looks at her schedule quickly walking out of her classroom. Looking left and right confusion filled her mind while scratching her head thinking, ‘Where to go now.’
“Leigh!” Litia calls for her as she looks up then Litia smiles. “We’re in the same class!”
Litia snatched her hand after she snooped at her schedule real quick. Dragging her through the halls into their next class.
When the day was over Azaleigh stood up sighing, “Dang... school here is MUCH MORE different from my previous school.”
“Really? I don’t really think so except this school has monsters.” Litia stood up with her bag over her shoulder waving to her.
“Well, good luck Leigh! Maybe I’ll set you up with one of the guys here!” Skipping out of the room as Azaleigh had sat back down smacking her forehead on the desk and groaning “No...”
In the dorms she walked down her hall, it was weird, though. She was the only one in her section while everyone else was right down near the end of the hall. Shaking it off how weird it was she sighs while walking into her dorm, “I’m glad this day is over, I can’t believe what a difference going to school here is like...”
Walking over to her bed plopping back on her mattress while staring up at her ceiling beautifully carved ceiling, “But I wonder what that carving up in the ceiling is? The history?” Thinking for a while as she shook her head no. “Nah probably just decoration.”
Rolling over on her side facing the side wall of a painting of flowers in a porcelain vase. Beginning to rest for a bit as her eyes began to droop.
Her room was dark as the night sky, Minutes later, Azaleigh’s door, oh so slowly, creaked open. She only turned over continuing to sleep. The steps she could not hear slowly came towards her bedside, never seeing it coming, the person gripped her shoulders shaking her. Azaleigh snapped her eyes open, pulled back her fist without thinking, and threw it forward. Missing completely as the person snatched her wrist then she heard the familiar voice,
“Hey! That’s not nice Leigh! It’s me, Litia.” Litia came into her vision of the dark as she was sitting on her bed grinning at her. Azaleigh sat up glaring right at her. She yawns rubbing her eyes, “Litia... what are you doing here...?”
Mainly annoyed as Litia grins more, “We’re going to pick up your friends tonight!”
Azaleigh gave her a blank look as she lays back down cocooning herself, “Nope, I’m going back to bed, do that tomorrow.”
“Nuh-uh! We need to go now!” Litia persists as she tugs the blankets off of her.
Outside her door, people who walked by her door after late shifts or late studying would hear would be the sounds of a wrestling match in Azaleigh’s dorm.
“Get off me Litia! I’m going back to bed!”
“Nope! We’re picking up your friends! I already have the directions to their homes!”
“What are you?! A stalker?!”
“Nope, now let’s go!”
Azaleigh’s door swung open as Litia drug her out. She had forced on her clothes for her. They were surprisingly on the right way as Azaleigh yanked her arm away from her. Straightening the wrinkles from her clothes out she would stare at Litia.
“Geez, what the heck. Alright, which one did you want to pick up first?” Azaleigh asks defeated as she crosses her arms over her chest.
“Uhm...” Litia began flipping through the pages of the notepad she had brought with her. “Ah, Koravah Mayne Akeem seems to be the closest one from here!”
“Korey? Uh... why?” Azaleigh cocks a brow at her, she was close but did she choose her because of that?
“Why, why?” Litia threw a question back grinning.
Azaleigh groans annoyed then grips Litia’s wrist while abruptly walking down the hall with her.
“Let’s just go and get my friends, they might try to beat me up but yeah... I’m blaming you..” Azaleigh says.
“Why blame me?!” Litia gawks then whines afterward.
“Cause this was your idea so let’s just get this over with and go back to bed!”
“Oh! We don’t need to pick them up, I meant just leave this note on their door.” Litia stops dead in her tracks pulling out a flyer advertising the high school and a few of the students Azaleigh had seen in her class.
“Did the headmaster approve of this?”
“Of course!” Litia smiles as Azaleigh sighs.
“Alright let’s go.” Much more pissed and annoyed she got up JUST for this. She just wants her bed... and the wonderful feeling of sleep.
In the middle of the night, Litia was driving her black Camero through the roads quickly as she stops at the first house-Azaleigh’s best friend’s house. They both got out as Litia smiles handing Azaleigh the flyer, “You just need to tape this to their front door facing in so they can see it.”
Azaleigh sighs snatching the flyer out of her hand, “Alright, alright, but if Korey’s three dogs start barking, I’m running back.”
Walking towards Koravah’s front gates quietly lifting the small latch and carefully opening the gate slowly but quietly. She knew where Korey’s room was, so she moved down onto the grass so no one would hear her creaking the wooden pathway, which was like a bridge. Slipping under the pathway she would slowly walk towards the cement staircase then moves towards the front door. Taking a look down at the flyer once then tore off a few pieces of tape then placed it on every corner of the back of the flyer.
Looking around once, she would place it on the window then hurried back towards Litia’s car very quietly. Hopping over the fence quickly, surprising herself that she could reach it really. Looking over to Litia’s car when she lands squatting near the ground. Azaleigh saw Litia waving excitedly to her making Azaleigh sigh deeply, running her fingers through her own hair and softly whispering to herself, “This is going to be a LONG night...”
Running over to Litia’s car and hopping inside as Litia drove off to another friend’s house- Virouge’s house. One after another they did the same without being noticed, how could anyone not hear an engine of a black expensive Camero, seriously who couldn’t hear it?!
After a long night of putting up the poster’s on her friends’ front doors, Litia and her would be back at the school exhausted able to sleep finally in her own bed. Azaleigh would be in the headmaster’s office in the morning, confirming everything that had happened last night.
“Good, good, soon we will have new students come to attend here.” Headmaster grins happily.
“Why do you seem happier than usual?” Azaleigh questions with her eyebrow cocked up.
He chuckles at her question, “Why you say? Why? I’ll tell you why it has been so long since we had human students here. It does get quite boring here.” Headmaster sighs drooping his shoulders.
“Maybe that’s because this school teleports too often in different areas,” Azaleigh suggests with annoyance plastered on her face.
“You think so?”
“I know so headmaster, I’ve been living on this road for years and never saw the gate to this school even once!” Azaleigh exclaims extremely irritated.
“Oh? Well, I guess that is part of the problem of that, that’s why I had dorms made so students could attend until graduation. It really is not a problem here, we have very reliable teachers here and my very helpful grandson.” Headmaster proudly exclaims.
Azaleigh blinks at him, “Did you say ‘Grandson’ who’s your grandson here?”
“Hmm? Oh yes, it’s Adrian Simmons of course.” Headmaster smiles. Folding his arms against the cleared surface of his repaired oak desk.
“Oh well, I guess I should say ‘hi’ to him when I see him.” Azaleigh rose from the chair. “For now I’ll just head out into the grounds to take a good look.”
“Okay, be careful that’s all I can say.” Headmaster waved as Azaleigh took her leave from his office.
‘He’s so weird for a headmaster, but still very kind.’ Azaleigh straightened her uniform while walking down the hallway. Taking out her cell phone she began looking at her screen, “Well at least I still have signal here... I have signal! Yes!”
Azaleigh never knew why she didn’t think of it before and she began to text Koravah.
Text message
Azaleigh - Korey! Sorry haven’t spoken with you lately
Korey - Leigh! Are you alright? Oh geez, I haven’t seen you in school for two days!
Azaleigh - Don’t worry I’m fine, only gonna say that you and everyone else will be where I’m at right now. Don’t be surprised to be kidnapped from your houses soon...
Korey - ...What? What are you talking about Leigh?
Azaleigh - You’ll see maybe tonight or tomorrow night.
Azaleigh would shut down her phone and sigh to herself. Azaleigh walked down the hall closing her eyes and sighing yet again. “You all will see when you get here... by your free will or by force.”
It was going to be a long two years for Azaleigh... walking out as she thought about how she was going to control her anger here? It would seem it was going to be a challenge to control it. Sighing Azaleigh walked down the halls as the one called Dave had found her. Not hearing him right away until hearing what she thought was a rampage of wild buffalo coming up behind her. Azaleigh sprinted ahead as she turned her head back then her eyes widened, “Damn you, Dave, what is up with you!!!”
“Yay! The cute girl!!!” Dave cheered as Azaleigh slid on her heels spinning around quickly then rammed her head forward right into his stomach making his eyes almost pop out of their sockets.
Dave’s arms were spread out as he stood there stunned; mostly in pain mostly. She moved back as she stood up straight seeing that Dave fell back on the ground and passed out instantly. Azaleigh blinks then wince rubbing her head in her hand. Turning she sped walked down the hallway to explore the school building some more, “Ow... maybe that wasn’t a very smart idea...”
~~~

Koravah would be at school and blinked confused a few times then began thinking ‘We’ll be kidnapped from our houses soon? What did Leigh mean by that?’

“Korey! Where is Azaleigh! She didn’t tell me anything before she disappeared did she tell you anything?!” Gabbifae ran over to her panicking and worry plastered on her face while gripping onto Koravah’s shoulders shaking her like a madman.

“Gab-bi-fae... I- don’t - know...!” Korey’s brain was rattled as Gabbifae finally stops. This gave Koravah a moment to hold her head blinking a few times trying to regain her vision.

“What? Then what in the world happened to her? Man, this is starting to bug me now...” Gabbifae sighs annoyed, “Well I have to get to class, try to find out what happened to her.”

Gabbifae waves turning around while walking away with her bag slung over her shoulder.

Koravah sighs while staring at the text on the phone, ‘If only we knew what happened to her... or where she was at, though...’

Koravah shifts her eyes glancing out the wide window but blinks a few times seeing a young male teen with white hair with light blue eyes standing there looking up at the school. Then placing his finger on his chin.

Koravah blinks staring at him as he somehow sensed her stare having her eyes widened. Quickly turning around beginning to sprint out of the school parking lot.

Koravah chases after him but when she headed outside... no one is there. Confused, looking around at every detail of the school closely then rubs the back of her head. The teen was out on top of the school looking down at her, though.

He sighs relieved, ‘That was a close call...’ Standing upright he lifted his palm having a symbol appear on the center of his palm, a single portal began to form as it ripples like the top of a puddle when you would just tap the surface with your finger. Lowering his hand he steps through as the portal disappeared.

Koravah walks back inside into the cafeteria and over to her bag as it sat on the lunch table closest to her next class, ‘I hope there won’t be anyone being kidnapped today or something... then again,’

Her mind wanders to a flyer on her door this morning, Clasford Academy, a school like no other, we’ll see you soon! And that was it that was written on it. It had a picture of a Victorian-style large building that looked like a mansion in her opinion. Gargoyles seemed to be on each corner of the building with dead trees that were on each side of a dirt road towards the school.

Staring closely at the picture in her hand then realizing what Leigh meant by that, ‘You’ll see maybe tonight or tomorrow night.’ Oh, shoot! Did she mean... no, she’ll show up, we’re not going to be kidnapped or anything like that.

Koravah calms herself down while thinking about her upcoming assignments while packing up her stuff and heading towards her class. She at least hoped what was happening was at least a lie.

~~~
At the school grounds, Azaleigh was walking around the grounds as nightfall came, “Hm? Wow, that was quick.”
Staring up at the orange/crimson sky then glancing around while continuing to walk but soon one of the male students came out from behind a pillar. Now stood in front of her way as she sighed turning around annoyed about to head back inside the school but seeing there was another one.
‘Crap!’ Cursing to herself as the two leered closer to her but were snatched from behind by two hands. Noticing one of the males had disappeared from in front of her. Taking her free hand clenching it into a fist as her eyes sharpened quickly spinning around.
“Bastards!” Throwing her fist at him but was caught in mid-air by his large hand. Her eyes widen in fear trying to resist frantically but he pushed her fist down easily as they both surrounded her.
“Yep, this is the new student.” The one in front of her smirks as another plays with her hair but she tries to bite his fingers.
“Oooo and a feisty one as well.” The other behind her grins.
Shutting her eyes even though she tried her hardest to hide her fear but unfortunately, she was drenched in it. Pinning her arms down one in front of her went to bite her neck. Amused at the fear they could smell from her.
“Hey.” ANOTHER male would interrupt as the teen in front of her would lift his head from the nape of her neck turning around.
“What the hell do you want? We’re only greeting the girl.” Grinning at him but Azaleigh nervously shakes her head no; her pupils were blown to the size of dinner plates. He glances at her and then back at the teen. She knew those eyes... “I can smell how afraid she really is, don’t you know it’s against the rules to feed off of human students? You all know that.”
Walking into the moonlight Azaleigh blinks, it was the guy who didn’t talk to her at all in class, what was his name? Kinnosuke! Man, she hoped he would save her from these creeps, struggling from the two boy’s grips but they only tightened both glaring at her. She only glares back at them hissing.
Kinnosuke would grip his fists while the other dashed towards him. Simply ducking and jabbing a few good pressure points into his body with his index fingers. But the moves were too fast for Azaleigh to see as it was like lightning.
She fell to her knees at what was happening. The one guy who stood behind her plowed into the ground with an over-the-shoulder throw by Kinnosuke. Struggles hard to move but he was paralyzed by the force of the throw as Kinnosuke stood there glaring down at the two who pinned Azaleigh down before. The two were able to stand running passed the one who beat the crap out of them escaping into the building.
Kinnosuke sighs while looking down at the girl, he recognized her from one of his classes and especially since she sat next to him. Azaleigh wasn’t it? He was hesitant to walk up to her as she just stares at him surprised and relieved. Azaleigh would shake her head while standing up on her own then Kinnosuke would blink at her surprised she could stand after seeing that and almost being bitten. Brushing off her uniform she would look over at Kinnosuke seeing how he had his back to her and was about to walk back towards the building. Looked side to side anxiously, then gave an annoyed sigh rushing up to him.
“Uh... hey can I follow you to the dorms?”
Glancing back at her then staring ahead again, “... No...”
Azaleigh’s jaw dropped as she glares at him, ‘Jerk.’
“I’m still going to follow you anyway, I don’t want any of those weird guys trying to jump me again.”
“What about Dave?”
“Dave? Ah, I can handle him, he’s surprisingly weak.”
“That’s cause he won’t physically harm girls to the point of a bruise or a scar.”
Blinking, “How do you know that?”
Glancing up at him but he simply shrugs having shoved his hands into his pockets.
“I’ve seen him do that to many of the girls here, he does not harm girls.”
Azaleigh smiles happy she could at least get a little conversation out of him, the rest of the walk to the dorms was awkwardly silent between the two of them. At the staircase towards the boy’s dorm on the second floor, she stares up seeing how the railing looked like they were made from real marble. There were more carvings on the walls which made it look more pretty. Carvings of different beasts, clouds, and looked to be a type of ribbon... or a blade? Kinnosuke turns walking away as Azaleigh looks at him and simply blinks while calling for him,
“Kinnosuke!” Turning slightly as she gave a grin. “Thanks for walking me here.”
“Hn...” Staring blankly at her then simply walks down the hall as she blinks and then shrugs while walking down the hall, opposite the staircase towards her dorm.
