"I didn't have any dislikes, the plot was very compelling and this story creates imagery of adventure, two dumb kids where these children lived after their parents become broke it's interesting because you often hear or see these kinds of stories happening in your neighbourhood and else. But to conclude my review it's a great story and I think it deserves an onscreen television show, I know I would like to be apart of that."

"I liked the story as it close to home. My heart goes out to Maggie and Joey as I grew up with my poor mom working herself to death to take of my sister and me. She walked across town and back to get to work. She ran a rooming house to help with income. She sewed our clothes when someone gave her material. Most of our clothes were given to us by the church. We never really felt poor, we didn’t realize how mother struggled to put food on the table. My father died of a heart attack when I was a baby. My mother was an Angel. We were blessed when I was eight my mom remarried. He was the most amazing, wonderful and loving man in the world. My heart goes out to these children and their mom. Brings back so many memories. "
