What is your opinion?
The best book!!
"One of the best books I have read on Inkitt so far. Full of twists and suspense. There were times when I got the same feeling as when I was reading The Red Dragon and The Silence of the Lambs, and that was one of the reasons I loved it. Excellent writing with very good characters. Congratulations to the author and I look forward to reading more masterpieces in the future."
Thrilling
"I am currently on the Fifth chapter. I initially wanted to write a review after I have finished all the chapters but lemme just write the review. First of all the story makes the reader curious, the character and the setting. It sounds dark and creepy but at the same time, it also sounds coold and mysterious. My personal favorite is Sorel who talks anout murder in such a casual and relaxed manner. It sounded funny to me. Second, I like the writing style. The author has portrayed different POVs of different characters so efficiently that even without saying whose POV it is, the reader can make an accurate guess of who is talking.. That is quite nice. And lastly, you got a beautiful cover. In short, this story is wortn readinga and though I have still not finished it, I am anticipating for great chapters ahead. god job"
Mysterious and Thrilling!
"What a great start to a creepy and thrilling ride. The characters all had distinct personalities and the dialogue keeps you on the edge of your seat. I have so many questions but I know they will slowly begin to unfold with each passing chapter. The figurative language was amazing and Sorel's inner dialogue was super creepy and well-written. I don't know what to expect and that's exciting. Can't wait to read more!"
Intriguing
"Although at the beginning, your writing style seemed a little jumbled, I'm glad to write that it got better and hopefully, will continue to improve. I like how not every information is clear and given to us readers on a platter of gold. It keeps us wanting for more which is really nice. I just have two corrections for you. Firstly, I'd like you to use words correctly. In chapter 2 "... my adrenaline was alright untill her words registered entirely... " Of course, someone's words can get us worked up butttt mostly if it's a threat. They were only having a heated conversation and adrenaline works for 'fight or flight' mode. For when your body thinks you may die. It gives strength. Secondly, it's a personal preference but, I think in your dialogue, you could add some actions or movements to it so it won't seem dull in any way. I know I've written too much but I hope it assists you in giving us a nice suspenseful novel. Thanks. "
Gritty and suspenseful!
"If you're looking for something that's dark, gritty and super thrilling, I would highly recommend this story! Each character's POV is interesting from start to finish, and the writing style itself fits the tone very well. The writer does an amazing job at making you want to read more, such an awesome story!!"
Excellent!
"Two chapters finished and it's already packed with action and mystery. Very interested to see where it goes! Love the descriptive language and written pattern of the words, the flow of the book. Very well done!"
Perfect
"This is genius! I've been reading it and I still don't get what's going on. It's like the author wants you to solve a puzzle. I think I will just start again maybe there's something I missed. All in all the story is intriguing, well written, the scenes beautifully told and the dialogue so nice. Keep up the good work, I can't wait to read more and more. And hold on the names, oh my gosh I like them!"
Intriguing and Suspenseful
"It's an intriguing story. You have completely astonishing writing skills, mind blowing! The description of scenes is pretty realistic and the characters give off an enigmatic aura right from the very beginning. I especially loved the choice of names and description. The cliff hangers are bewildering which left me craving to read more. I would be looking forward to reading from you!"
ANTOMY
"ANATOMYY; Characters of intreigue is possibly this story's greatest thing. Making us completely hooked straight away Learning about the characters of the story, made it compelling to the readers from intriegue. Despite the story's magnificent character build-up, there has been some other grammar, dialouge, and discriptive problems. The punctuation/grammar, like most writers or all writers are not perfect. You added "... especially Nigel." Adding an ellepsis before a character speaking is not correct whatsoever, and infact, writers never use an ellepsis, instead they use ". . ." spaced out, but instead it is also called an ellepsis, it is how you write in story telling is the ellepsis but spaced out more. You added bold text, depending on the story itself, whether it is a kid book you can add bold text, but when writing to adults or teens it is no bold text associated within the story. And with the exclamation mark, in the story you did use it. And obviously you did know how to use it as most writers do in that matter. There is a text in your story saying "It wasn't even my fault to begin with. How many times did I practically beg you guys to check the attic?" I shouted. You added I shouted, but you didn't add the exclamation mark, sure that the reader knows that you add "I shouted" for context of what the character's tone is like. But you could also add an exclamation mark to complete that effect. As writers submitted writers also adds that. I get that putting exclamation marks in your writing can make your story seem childish so the readers will think that the author forgot the audience. However, you can put one exclamation mark to show shouting as well as saying "I shouted". You added a bit too much dialougue in your writing; from the dialouge having a wall of dialouge it makes your readers bored by having too much dialouge in your story. Instead for continuously talking, you can add descriptive in between like: "Welcome to Fairmont hotel,' the receptionist said with a smirk. "Hi how are you?" (and so on). It will keep your story away from making it dull. And even if you don't add what their expressions are when describing it can make the reader bored by not visualising it, and just making it seem like a straight face. In scary situations you don't need to add it, because if the character sounds scared it also tells the reader their expression being scared by stuttering or by shaking physically. Furthermore, it Can not show the readers expression, but it gives more of a hint of what the characters expression are like. You still need to describe it though, because there are different types of character expressions from jaw dropping, to wide-eyed, and goosebumps and etc, to show the emotion of the person makes the character seem more human. Now descriptive, the descriptive writing in the story was good, but it was still a bit foggy. In one of the chapters you described the protagonist curling up in a ball, which is good, but you need to keep your writing very descriptive, like instead for I curled up in a ball, you can show more action than that by saying: "My legs were up to my chest, and my back was in a c-position, as my hands were wrapped around my legs whilst I look down at hte ground." Just make sure to not descriptively state the obvious in your writing. Despite that, the word choice was very good, but there are somethings in the story that doesn't make much sense, dont let that succumb you, you are a great writer and you know it. I hope my review helped. In my opinion the plot was a 4 star rating, writing style in my opinion was good, but I have a feeling it can be better with better descriptive writing. Punctuation and grammar was 3.5 star rating, but I mentally decided to make it a 4 for the rating. I loved the story, it was suspenseful, and was overall great writing from a great writer. Well done!"
✨Wow✨
"This book has mystery and a lot of action. It is visible that the author didn't just start writing it, a good amount of planing has been done for it and if not than I am surprised how this story has such perfect pace and plot. I was a bit confused but it slowly started to make sense as all the action was going on. Want to see what will happen next. ~Well done 🖤🖤🖤"
Whoa!
"You're off to a great start! I love the action and suspense. And I'm curious to know more about Emel and see how she gets out of her situation."
Emal's Anatomy
"Jan-7-2024-unsure if a complete work or not at this point- A macabre tale for fans of 'Creepshow' or 'Twilightzone' Technically the writing strives for poetic and mysterious storytelling with a style all their own. The world within far from dreamy seems more of a nightmare. Not a fan of horror or thriller myself may not be the best judge for such a story and was left wondering "what is this really about?" Keep up the good work"

"The Anatomy of Emel Seymour lives up to the genre of horror. The dark world that exists within our own is truly frightening, indeed. As a work in progress, this story would benefit from editing, but once you step back and digest what you've read, there are some truly frightening themes that will keep you up at night. I can see great potential in this story and will be looking forward to reading more. "
Gotham CIty meets John Wick in this Psychological Horror Thriller!
"Hold on to your hats, as you embark upon this psychological horror thriller! Siffre takes us down a vivid, dark road of emotion and gore as we enter the world of Emel Seymour and the unorthodox family she has come to lead. I appreciate Siffre’s unique writing style and am excited to see where this story goes as she continues writing. As a WIP, there’s some technical errors, but very few can’t be overlooked through the context. The plot is thickening and I can’t wait to see just how massive her world-building gets. Think Gotham City and John Wick… :) Her content warnings are legit, so if you can’t take gore, you’ve been warned. If gritty storytelling is your thing, I highly recommend this nicely done WIP!
