Prologue
Grey Woolf and Logan West have been best friends since they were in diapers. They both had entered the military at the same time. They went in as boys and emerged as strong warriors nobody messes with. They were part of the Seals team, and when they retired from the military, Grey joined the police force, followed by Logan. Logan is more of an IT person, and Grey did the detective or rescue and recovery portion. Several of his men joined the police department. Grey received his detective license and Private Investigator License as well. He encouraged Logan and a few friends to do the same, as he and Logan wanted to open an office.
Grey became a detective with the police force, and Logan did more of the IT for the department. Grey is a werewolf, and Logan is a vampire. Some of their comrades who joined them in the force are also supernaturals, and their jobs are to protect their kind against humans. It does not mean they cannot live amongst humans; they do not want their secrets revealed.
When Grey received his license, he opened his own business called Security Intelligence Agency, and Logan joined him to set up all the IT work. Others who served in the Seals with Grey and Logan joined them in the business. Those that joined Grey broke ties with the police department. Some wanted to open a gym, but Logan and Greys’ fathers built one and named it Legendary Fitness. In the gym, they have boxing, martial arts, and other classes to help humans protect themselves from others who may harm them. They also sponsor MMA fighting, boxing, and sports-related events for upcoming professionals and have staff to train those that want to participate.
Something has been happening in their town and surrounding areas where people have been disappearing and found dead. The police have not found any leads, the sheriff’s departments have not found any leads, and they are not in any hurry to figure out what is happening.
Will they find out who is doing the kidnapping and killings? Is it one of them who may have an alter ego and does not realize that he is doing the abduction or killings, or will it be someone from the police force? Is it one of their friends doing this, someone who is too deep and owes a debt, or paying someone to do the bidding for themselves?
