Welcome to this collection of Shorts from a variety of authors. This is a short story event - updates will begin on the 21st of August 2023. Each story has been put together using a points system and a game board.

The Host
All entries belong to the Author listed on the chapter. This collection will never be signed as ownership doesn’t lie with the host. Stories may be removed without notice or published elsewhere at the Author’s discretion. This was a fun exercise and therefore any negative comments will be hidden. RULES FOR THE 2023 EVENT (rules for the next event will be displayed before the 1st chapter of the corresponding section)
The anthology is called - Endless Adventure. This is an opportunity to showcase your work but it is also for fun! No prize but there are some rules:
You must use the table to build your story.
Word limit starts at 4500 and will change depending on how you use your points
You may submit up to two entries - they must not follow on form each other/ contain the same characters. You may use your original point count for your second story and just make different purchases
The theme is ADVENTURE - mild to moderate peril, linear story line, black and white morals, good vs evil.
Parody, Fairytale retelling ect is permitted
You must be prepared to have your work displayed on Ink,itt and/or Dreame from 21st of August to the 3rd of September.
Entries written in English only please
You don’t need to be an author to participate or on any specific platform
Final submission date is the 7th of AUGUST
No sex scenes - maximum permitted ‘action’ is a kiss with fade to black
No gore, graphic descriptions or triggering content [please ask if you are unsure]
You cannot go into negative points
Unless you are writing with a spaceship as the setting there is no electricity - ‘Swords and Sandals’ style only. Pirates get guns. Aliens get technology.
All characters must be human unless you purchased a character type from the 3 point column (you only need to purchase once to beable to use the character type for any character) If you used the 1 point MC character change it ONLY applies to the MC.
At the top of each short story -

Plot: Save the love interest
Column 1: Rope Bridge -1
Map -1
Column 2: Luck is on my side -2
Column 3: Trolls -3
Off board purchase: Orcs -4
Sold or bought words: Sold 500 words =+1
MC change: Vampire -1
Please check your math: 12-1-1-1-2-3-4+1-1=0
Then have your main text
Then at the bottom please put your:
Pen Name.
A list of your books and where to find them
Any groups or webpages you wish to have advertised.
As always the host may reject entires should they not meet the criteria. You will be notified if that is the case or may be asked to make adjustments.
