"I can see that all that time between reading and cooking to refine your craft has paid off. You have certainly mastered the art of first lines to hook the reader. Chapter 1 'The sliver of light was almost gone.' Chapter 2 'The angel was disintegrating' With both of those I couldn't help but read on. And you end each chapter well. To finish with knowing that Kate is lying and the suspicion that Bo was murdered is bound to make people want more. My difficulty with thrillers like this is that I tend to want to rush through the reading to get to the next bit. It's a bad way to read, I know, but that's what good thrillers do to me. I had to slow down so I could appreciate more of your descriptions. I nearly missed Kate's favourite smell of the Charles Street Laundromat and, for some strange reason, that is an image that will stay with me! Not sure my 'Last Things' will match up to yours but certainly would certainly value any constructive feedback you might have. Already questioning my first and last lines!!"

"This is the best read I have had in a long time. The characters, plot, swapping between past and present, are flawless. The descriptive ability of the author is so well done it draws the reader into the actions and the suffering of the characters. The story is engaging and some chapters are like a runaway train, carrying you along with it for the ride. An excellent piece of writing and certainly deserving of a place in a publishers list. Reminiscent of “IT” A horror story well worth recommending. I agree it would make a great edge of your seat movie."

Except for some spelling and punctuation, which we are all guilty of in the world of acronyms, I enjoyed this very much. Small thing but fixable. I love stories that I'm able to imagine as I read along and this was one of them. I'd be interested in reading more and seeing what else you have to offer in the world of reading.great job "
