Introduction
Ella was on her way to class when she noticed a pair of eyes following her like magnets. The hallways never seemed so long until now. After finding her seat in her first class of the day, Ella takes out her notebook and starts writing.
First class was a breeze, but those eyes are stinging in the back of Ella’s head. When she turns around, she’s met with a pair of piercing blue eyes, a long, narrow nose, brown hair with soft curls and a stippled beard.
“Haven’t seen you in class before, you new?” He asks with a smirk painted on like a bluff.
“You could say that. I’ve transferred here after a really horrific accident and I just couldn’t stay in the same city after that,” She says, smiling at first before explaining further. She then shakes the emotion off her face and turns to leave the classroom.
The school day is now over and Ella is walking home from her classes. That’s when she feels someone coming near her and turns around. The boy from earlier is running towards Ella with something in his hand.
“Here, it’s for you,” He says before walking away.
It’s a necklace. Ella puts it on right away before continuing the walk back to her dorm. Once Ella is inside her dorm, she decides to cook dinner. Spaghetti seemed like a good idea. After eating, Ella showered, brushed her teeth and worked on her assignments before passing out in bed.
Waking up the next morning only to realize that it’s Friday which means no classes! Which means, let’s get ready to party! Ella starts rummaging through every outfit she’s accumulated from online shopping but can’t seem to choose one for tonight’s party. And she has a lot to do to prepare herself for the night.

Walking into class this morning, I see a girl I’ve never seen before. She doesn’t seem to be like the other girls that go here and I just have to know more about her. Only problem is.. I’m the one who destroyed the Bennington Battle Monument. If she found out it was me, I’d blow all my chances with her or anyone, really.
After prying her open a little bit, I’ve discovered a huge insecurity she has. Family. She’s alone in a new city with no one to contact if she needs help. Then an idea popped into my head. She’s new at school so nobody knows who she is, really, so making her fall for me then makinv her an accomplice will make us even stronger. “Bingo,” I whisper to myself, making sure nobody heard.
I’ve been carrying around this locket since my ex and I broke up 2 years ago, hoping I’d find the one and I think I found her today. After sitting in my other classes, I finally was able to go looking for her again and saw her walking across the yard towards the dorms. I’m still fairly nervous to hold a conversation too long, since I haven’t really tried to date in so long. I walk off after handing her the necklace because I didn’t want it to be awkward.
Sitting in my room, listening to music, I try to collect my thoughts and feelings about her. I know her name is Ella, she has long brown hair, bright green eyes, fair skin with freckles across her nose and an amazing smile. I’ve got to know more about her or it’s gonna drive me mad!
I start pulling at my hair, angry because falling in love makes me feel so scared and destructive. It’s not on purpose, I just care way too much that I don’t care who I hurt as long as my person is safe and cared for.
Once I’ve calmed down, I can finally relax and think. Tomorrow is Friday and I’m thinking about going to Liam’s huge beach party, but only to spend time with him. I have no interest in getting drunk and harassing girls. Liam and I have been pals since we were kids and every minute I’m with him, it’s like we’ve never really changed. That’s when my body decided I needed to sleep.
