"Wow!! I was thoroughly captivated by this dark romance! Despite its brief length, which typically I don't read,the story unfolded beautifully without feeling hurried. I kept wanting to go to the next chapter and the next. The characters were so well-developed that I found myself wanting to see where you took it and you did them 'justice'!"

"You really ate with this one I loved loved loveddddddddd it. The idea of good cop falling for the criminal was just it for me. This is one of my favs. I live for your stories ❤️🫶🏾❤️ the characters were good and I loved that the livi was head strong and not a little softie. "

"The way in which past and present slowly came together in this story is lovely. The first few chapters were a bit confusing to me sometimes. Some paragraphs didn't read as smoothly and it wasn't always clear how fast time had moved on. It took me a few chapters to get used to the way in which point of view and timeline jumped back and forth. However, the further I got in this story, the smoother it was to read. After about chapter 5 the text starts flowing really nicely and by that time I had also gotten used to the way the story was written. On top of that, the characters are interesting and very loveable, making it a joy to read this story."
