Best Friend’s Father: Cassie

“Can you believe this is our last night together before we start college? Can you believe we are finally adults?”

My best friend Miranda was drunk and loud. There is no way I’m going to sneak her into the house without her father catching us.

As soon as I put the key in the door, Mr. Brome opened it.

“I could hear her a mile away,” he joked..

“I’m sorry. I told her not to drink so much.”

Mr. Brome let out a sigh and took her from me.

“I’ll get her to her bed. Can you help her undress?”

I nodded as he turned around and walked up the stairs. I pursued him and waited for him to leave so I could get her comfortable.

I made a pillow wall to keep her on her side in case she gets sick.

After I got her situated, I went to find Mr. Brome to let him know Miranda was in her bed and should be good to go.

I thought he would have gone back downstairs, but he wasn’t anywhere to be found. I went back upstairs to check his room since it’s the only place I haven’t looked.

Once I got there, I knocked lightly, but as I did, the door opened a little and Mr. Brome was standing in his boxers, looking at me through the opening.

“Is everything alright, Cassie?”

“Umm. Yeah, I just wanted to let you know Miranda is good to go, and you should check on her periodically.”

“Are you not staying?”

“No, Miranda is going to be hungover and not want company.”

I couldn’t stop staring at his chiseled chest. I had admired it in secret before, always stealing glances when he wasn’t looking. But this time, he caught me red-handed. As our eyes met, a blush spread across my cheeks, and I quickly averted my gaze. Embarrassment washed over me, and I felt my heart race.

He gave me a smirk. “Do you like what you see?”

“Sorry..I…”

“I don’t mind, Cassie.”

How could he not care? I’m his daughter’s best friend and I’ve known him for most of my life.

“Come here.”

His voice was authoritative and sent shivers down my spine. I hesitantly walked towards him.

“You’ve grown in to a beautiful young woman.”

The words echoed in my mind as I stared at him, trying to process what he had said. He was the first man to call me beautiful, not even Noel, my ex-boyfriends called me that when we were together.

He reached for my arm and pulled me close to him.

“Did you meet a guy tonight, hoping to get fucked so you can forget about your ex?”

He knows all about Noel and the douche he was. He was actually the person who convinced me to break up with him after I found him cheating. I almost forgave him.

“I wanted you to break up with for many reasons, but the main reason is because I want you.”

His words shocked me and I didn’t know how to respond, so I stood there looking up at him.

“I’m going to kiss you.”

He leaned down and captured my lips with his. He dominated my mouth in every way possible.

“God, your lips are perfect,” he mumbled.

It felt like my heart was racing as I processed his words. He enjoyed kissing me. He kept his gaze on me, looking from my eyes to my lips. His eyes were filled with lust, and knowing that he wanted me gave me the confidence to tell him how I much I wanted him.

“I want you, Ethan.”

“Are you sure? There is no going back. Once I have you, you are mine and no other man will have you.”

Is he saying what I think he’s saying?

“This won’t be a onetime thing.”

It was like he could read my mind. Do I want more than one night with him? What about Miranda? What are we going to tell her?

“What about Miranda?”

“We’ll tell her when the time is right, but right now, I need to fuck you.”
