"Jamie please! Not today. I have yet to revise anatomy of gall bladder. I will come with you tomorrow. "
" No ave, you are coming with me . Now. Can't you see how much weight we have gained in just six months? Our lives have stuck between eating and studies. We don't even get to sleep properly! This Gym will do great work. Please ave. "
"Fine! But you know we can't spend more than a half an hour because we have choose this career and it's our responsibility to dedicate ourselves to it. We can't compain now, can we?"
" Okay I got it, you know I have heard the owner is hot. "She giggled and I rolled my eyes.
We are freshers, we have choose medical career, a doctor's life. My mother choose it for me. I never argued because I know her. At the end, decision will be hers.
She likes to control everything around her, our life, our career and the people we talk, the food we ate. Everything.
Now when I was in different estate for studies, my life is much better than before. She can't order me here according to her wish, I am my own person and for atleast 7 years things will be same. Maybe after that I will be able to face her, to able to do what I like.
Jamie is bugging me since last week to join the gym, the last owner had retired passing his responsibility to his son. And Jamie was fangirling over him since the moment she got the news.
Now I am forced to accompay her.
I followed her to the cabine where the registration was going to proceed,
I saw a guy typing something on his computer before looking at us.
" So you guys are jamie and avelin, right? Would you like to share some of your information beside identity cards so we can fix Your timings and charges?"
" Yeah, I am jamie and this is my friend avelin. We are college students so we want evening batch, it will be more suitable for us."
" Very well. " He type something on looking at screen before looking at me. " Both of your timings will be from four to twelve in the evening. If you want to change please ask my assistant. "
" Okay, thank you. " We stand up and turn our heels to leave but I heard a voice behind me.
" Miss aveline, your I'd card. "
My eyes widened and I turned around.
" Sorry, I forgot."
" It's alright." He said with a smile. It was then I noticed he was handsome. I didn't let my thoughts consumed my mental peace and return with jamie.
" He was fucking hot, ave. I should have joined earlier. The way he called your name, I regret not leaving my I'd card too. " I burst out laughing and so she was.
"Next time, jamie. Do leave something behind you will get many chances again." I laughed.
" What was his name, again? Did you noticed?"
" No jamie. How would I know?"
" Right. "
The following night went well but how tired I was even though we only exercised and run. God! My body is so damn week.
I really needed to exercise atleast twice a week that I only realised tonight.
The next day was same, so the next to next. But I felt being watched but I shrugged off the thought because there are many people, and I wasn't very good in socialising so I felt this way but boy I was wrong.
" Ave ! What are you thinking? You didn't heard anything I said?" I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard jamie.
" Oh.. I didn't. Sorry."
" No worries, I was telling you that his name is Christopher Harper . I heard few girls were talking about him in restroom. "
" Whose name?"
" God! Of course the owner. The handsome hunk."
" Oh. "
" Yes. oh. I heard he also have a brother."
I didn't know what to say so I just nodded. Sometimes I wanted to pack her and ship to sahara desert because of her obsession with men.
I never meet someone who met my expectations or made me feel something inside my heart so I have no idea about the things she was saying but as a bestfriend I respect her wish, I listen to everything she say because that's what friends for. And she does the same when I needed her.
The first three week wasn't that bad but I was so tired, once Christopher helped us in fixing machine that suddenly stuck in between.
We chatted few minutes and he became our new friend. Jamie was on nine cloud because he himself offered his friendship to jamie then me.
Now we greet each other we meet, sometimes he tries to seek our attention, maybe he likes jamie. He sometimes guided us instead of our instructor.
And it was because we were friends, I met the person that truly destroyed my life. Giving me hope of a beautiful future, left me without a word.
