CHAPTER 00
"O MOTHER‽" Taerae squealed after a while when he realized he had bumped into his crush in his favorite coffee shop.
Everything would still be fine, if not for the fact that the shake he bought a moment ago to cool down was now on the clothes of the one he could only dream of talking to.
His friend Hanbin stood completely confused with his mouth wide open and only time for a fly to fall in.
Hwarang's buddies had the same expression and they were also stunned.
There was a mutual silence that could have been cut with a knife.
Even the saleswoman who took orders stood still.
Not really knowing what to do because she knew the boy well and it was better not to get in his way.
Not surprisingly, it was only a matter of a few moments for a brawl to break out.
She felt sorry for Taerae as soon as she entered, though he didn't realize it at the moment.
His precious strawberry milkshake was currently dripping down the shirt of none other than Hwarang himself, who looked confusedly from his shirt to the culprit of the incident.
Not realizing what poor Taerae was going through mentally.
And the more he looked at it, the blood in his veins accelerated dangerously.
Which meant that his heart was starting to come up to his throat and he could turn into a rabbit at any moment, which, as you know, he would like to avoid.
Whereas through the damn cold shake, Taerae could see his shirt sticking to his body for a moment, giving him more heart palpitations.
He didn't have to touch his face to know he was turning beet red. And there was nothing he could do about it at the moment.
However, from the very morning, he felt in his bones that it was better to postpone this meeting with Hanbin to another date.
If he did, he probably wouldn't be in the spotlight now and people wouldn't be watching with bated breath to see what happens next.
Because really, no one had the faintest idea how the other would react.
"Fuck, what have you done?" Hwarang roared at last, just after his brain finally delivered the information that his favorite blouse was covered in something cold and pink and white.
"S-sorry, that wasn't intentional!" from Taerae's mouth again came a high note, which he was unable to stop.
With every syllable he uttered, his tone became more squeaky.
And there was unmistakable fear in his eyes.
And it's because that's not the way he wanted to talk to him, he was one hundred percent sure.
His bunny nature was starting to show even more inside him, and he wanted to take to his heels and get the hell out of this place.
He felt that if he stayed here any longer, his life would be in danger. Especially since in the eyes of Taerae, Hwarang was a carnivore and he was a herbivore.
That's why he felt so lousy at the moment, let alone if he found out his fucking secret.
"Yeah, I can see it now! You'll pay me for ruining my clothes!" growled Hwarang after a while, not paying attention to the words spoken by the boy.
As a result, he began to approach him to a dangerous distance.
At that time, Taerae's heart almost jumped out of his chest, and his legs began to turn to jelly.
And the day started so beautifully for him and there was no indication that he would have to run away to save his life!
While Hwarang took steps forward, Taerae took the same steps back.
He knew he had to do something or else he would give him a spanking.
Not having the faintest idea that the whole scene was set up by his crush who didn't quite know how to ask him out.
Whereas only recently did Hwarang discover that he is gay.
And the culprit was none other than Taerae, who grew sweeter in his eyes with each encounter.
He didn't even know when he started referring to him as a cute bunny and he had to be careful not to say it out loud.
He didn't want to talk to him that way, but he couldn't ruin his "bad boy" image, who hated everything that was cute, whether it was alive or not.
It was gnawing at him, and it was hard, which made him go around in circles irritable and angry.
He wished he could finally let it out and be able to be who he really was.
No wonder, when Hwarang approached him and wanted to hit him, he missed his swing so that after a while his hands rested on his chest for a moment, because it was the only way he could push him with all his strength.
Regardless of whether he fell or not, Taerae walked past him and rabbit-drive left the cafe without looking back.
Leaving behind a shocked Hanbin, who was already opening his mouth to say something to him, but as you know, he was not given it.
Because all that's left of Taerae is an empty strawberry milkshake container.
Not forgetting Hwarang, whose buttocks touched the cold floor of the room.
Because he didn't expect that this boy had such strength to knock him to the ground.
No wonder that he lowered his head down to run his hand through his hair after a while and burst into uncontrollable, hysterical laughter.
A laugh that hadn't been on his lips until now.
That's why it sounded so awful, but he didn't realize it.
In the meantime, the cafe became empty, as if the other customers were afraid that in a moment they would be killed.
If it wasn't for the fact that Hanbin had nerves of steel, he probably would have left this place in a jump.
***
"Jesus, Hwarang what was that?" finally uttered a LEW, at the same time wanting Hwarang to pick himself up off the floor, but he was not given it, because Hanbin beat him to it.
"I'm sorry about my friend, I don't know what's gotten into him." Hanbin turned to him after a while, trying to appease Hwarang somehow.
"It's my fault, if only I hadn't been staring at him with murder in my eyes, he wouldn't have run away in such a hurry!" Hwarang replied after a while, completely forgetting about the stain on the T-shirt that Taerae had presented to him, before he turned to LEW because, as you know, he couldn't split himself: "And what do you think it was?"
"What won't you say‽ And you think how much I will help you‽ You ruin almost every plan and you think about being with my best friend? It's starting to get tiresome!" hissed after a moment Hanbin, who picked up the empty package a moment later and threw it into the trash can.
"I am aware of this…" Hwarang didn't finish his speech because Hanbin interrupted him.
"If you realize what you're still doing here," Hanbin asked after a moment, not having the faintest idea why he was still here instead of chasing a terrified Taerae to clear up the misunderstanding.
"Even if I leave the coffee shop, I don't know where to find him!" Hwarang noticed after a while, because he really didn't know where Taerae could go and he didn't want to search haphazardly.
"If I'm not mistaken, he went to the nearby playground where he always hides when something happens" Hanbin said after thinking for a while, secretly hoping that he was right about that.
"Are you sure?" Hwarang asked after a while, wanting to make sure it was a good lead.
"Wouldn't hurt to check, would it?" Hyuk asked after a while, joining the conversation at the same time.
Hwarang was silent for a moment, as if wondering if this was a good idea after all.
And that's because he wasn't sure he'd find it there.
On the other hand, he had no other option because he couldn't run all over the city to find it.
No matter how he wanted it, it was impossible no matter how he looked at it.
He finally closed his eyes for a moment and counted to 10 before opening them again.
It was the only way he could decide to go there. He really had nothing to lose and all he could really gain.
"Why not? It doesn't hurt to check! I don't want anything to happen to him by accident, right?" Hwarang announced after a while, realizing that this could happen.
"Then what are you waiting for?" noticed the LEW after a while, not really understanding why Hwarang was still here and talking to them, instead of running after him and catching up with him.
"Then it's time for me! I'll let you know when I find him and find out why he ran away in such a panic!" Hwarang announced after a while, quickly dodging his buddies to leave the cafe.
He didn't even wait for what they would say because his thoughts were completely elsewhere.
No matter how much he tried to come up with it, nothing seemed to fit him.
He took his sunglasses out of his pocket, having completely forgotten about them, and remembered them when he went out into the sun.
The sun that blinded for a moment, which made her stop for a moment because he had no other choice.
He sighed softly and put his glasses on his nose to be able to move on.
With every step he took, his heart began to beat more and more.
He wanted to find him as soon as possible, but he knew that if he hid, it wouldn't be easy to find him.
"And you're lucky!" Hwarang muttered under his breath, just after he finally reached the playground that his buddies told him about.
He stood in front of it and wondered what to do next.
That's because the playground was huge and there was no way he could find it quickly.
On the other hand, he wasn't about to give up now, he was 100% sure of that.
He sighed again and clenched his hands into fists.
He was perfectly aware that there was no turning back and if he went back without finding Taerae it would look like he was a coward.
Eventually, however, he pulled himself together and adjusted the glasses he was wearing.
When he did that, he could cross the playground in peace and could finally look for him.
He didn't know why, but he had a rather strange feeling that this wasn't a good idea.
"Why does it feel so weird, like I don't know what I'm doing?" thought Hwarang after a while, unable to get rid of this strange feeling that had taken over him since he crossed the playground.
In the end, however, Hwarang managed to get rid of him, otherwise he would not have moved from where he was.
For this time of day, there were quite a few families with children running around and laughing.
Something was preventing him from calmly searching for Taerae.
However, that didn't mean it was impossible to do.
On the other hand, the fact that there were a lot of people made it easier for me to find him.
He could have asked a person if they had seen a boy with such a look here.
On the other hand, it would not be a good solution because he would also have to explain who he is to this boy and why he was looking for him.
Just thinking about it made him sick, because he couldn't reveal why he was looking for him.
He sighed heavily and decided to look for it on his own.
"And where has he been hiding?" Hwarang muttered under his breath as he circled the playground again, pretending he had come for a run.
Although his appearance did not indicate it at all, he did not pay attention to it at all.
He also ignored the suspicious looks from his parents as he passed them on the sidewalk.
Which was understandable, because they were worried about the safety of their dearest children.
He paused for a moment to catch his breath before he noticed a familiar figure.
A silhouette that resembled Taerae, but he could be wrong about that.
No wonder that he immediately moved in the direction in which he noticed him, only to notice that this person started to run away at the sight of him.
Which meant Hwarang was right and he was the one he was looking for.
Now all he had to do was not lose sight of him, because then the harvest would have to look for him.
***
Taerae flew out of the cafe as if he had been scalded.
As if it was at least unclear what started chasing him.
He didn't even turn around to see if anyone was following him, he was so desperate to hide now.
He had to do it so as not to reveal that he was a wererabbit.
He couldn't in such a stupid way reveal the secret he had been hiding since birth, he was one hundred percent sure!
He was well aware of how ordinary people reacted to shapeshifters, so he didn't want who he was to come out into the world.
Therefore, he had to accept that his affection for Hwarang would never be reciprocated.
And the more he had contact with him, the more his affection for him grew.
No wonder that he tried to move away from him as soon as possible, because it was the only way he could suppress what he felt for him.
"Dammit, if only he didn't run after me!" Taerae muttered under his breath, secretly hoping that he would be able to calm down without revealing what he didn't want to reveal.
He didn't even know when he got to the nearby playground he was so engrossed in escaping from there.
Only so could he save his bunny butt from uncontrollable exposure!
From the morning he felt that today would be one of the worst days, even though it wasn't Friday the 13th.
Everything would be fine if Hwarang approached him at a dangerous distance, which caused his heart to beat faster.
And his rabbit nature began to take over him, and he couldn't help it.
He knew that sooner or later he would have to face him anyway, or it would end badly for him.
On the other hand, he was afraid of his reaction to being a werewolf.
Because that was the biggest obstacle to revealing that he had a crush on him.
At the last moment, he managed to hide in one of the large slides before bunny ears appeared on his head and a fluffy tail appeared on his back.
"And what am I supposed to do now?" Taerae muttered quietly, hoping no one saw him, which wasn't as simple as he thought.
And that's because already at this hour the playground was swarming with families with laughing and running children.
On the other hand, even if one of the children noticed him, their parents wouldn't believe them.
It would be easier for him if he went to a convention or something.
Then Taerae wouldn't have to worry about someone discovering his secret.
However, that wasn't the case, and that's why he had to sneak around like a Spy on Elm Street, which he obviously didn't like at all.
However, he had no other choice, because the more nervous he became, the more his transformation took place.
He didn't even know when he leaned against the wall of the slide, after which he slid back down to the very bottom, and he only felt the ground.
He wanted to sink into the ground, he was so embarrassed by his earlier behavior.
In fact, he had no idea why he reacted so harshly towards Hwarang.
Apparently, his bunny nature sensed the danger and reacted the way he did.
Which does not mean that he should take his legs and run away without a word.
He put his head on his lap and tried to hide his bunny ears, which seemed to stick out on top of his head.
He hated them more than his tail!
Maybe if they were of the floppy type, you could still somehow get over it because he could easily hide them.
It wasn't like that at all, and no matter how much he tried to hide it, he couldn't.
Now he just hoped that nothing would cause him to assume the form of a rabbit, because then it would take some time before he regained his human appearance.
Until then, some people will take him home, or call the proper services who will search his belongings and figure out why he took off his clothes and left them here.
And where did he go without them, because people in the park will shake their heads that they haven't seen any exhibitionist.
By then, Taerae will be back to his original form and will be completely naked as his clothes will be in plastic bags as evidence.
And consequently, if they find him, he will act as an exhibitionist, which, as you know, he was not.
The thought of having to explain to them why he took off his clothes in a children's park made him sick.
And he would probably turn into a rabbit again from his nerves in front of them, which, as we know, he would prefer to avoid.
He didn't want to become a test animal, of that he was one hundred percent sure.
Then not only would they break up his family, but also that he would never see them again for the rest of his life.
"Ugh... And what was that for?" Taerae muttered under his breath, while twitching his bunny ears like some kind of sonar or no one is coming towards him.
He didn't get an answer to that question, which made him even more nervous.
He was well aware that he couldn't hide in this place for who knows how long, and sooner or later he would have to go home anyway.
As he slowly began to recover and the bunny ears and tail retracted, a small movement reached his human ears.
No wonder he looked up to see what was happening and then froze in place.
That's because he felt like he saw a familiar figure that belonged to none other than Hwarang himself!
"Damn it!" Taerae squealed under his breath, immediately getting up from the ground to leave this place as soon as possible before he gets him.
Without looking back, he began to run forward, hoping that he hadn't noticed him.
Although it was unlikely, because his spot was very visible.
No wonder he started kicking himself for not finding a better hiding place.
However, who predicted that he would run after him?
On the other hand, there was no way he would find it so quickly if someone didn't tell him about this place.
At the last moment, he managed to find another safe place and wanted to strangle Hanbin for being such a pig, which he did not suspect at all.
"I hope he doesn't find me here, otherwise I don't know what I'll do..." Taerae muttered under his breath, finding another hiding place in another slide in the form of a penguin.
It took him a while to calm down a bit again because his heart was starting to come up to his throat again.
He also felt his blood start to flow faster in his veins and it was only a matter of time before he really turned into a rabbit.
Now there was no turning back and all he had to do was hope that he would make it home without confronting Hwarang, who was probably still looking for him.
And knowing him, until he gets to him, he won't let go.
On the other hand, he had no idea why he ran after him, because it certainly wasn't because of the stain he had beaned some time ago.
Which, as you know, was not intentional and he already apologized to him for it.
"Unless Hanbin told him how he felt about him... But then he'd have done me on the entrance instead of chasing me, wouldn't he?" Taerae thought after a while, trying to find out why Hwarang went with him.
"Then, is it... No, it's impossible... But I won't be sure until I talk to him! However, that's probably not a good idea..." he added after a while in his mind Taerae, so that after a while he felt that he was getting hot from the realization.
Taerae was so absorbed in his thoughts that he didn't pay attention to his surroundings.
As a result, he did not realize that someone was coming towards him.
Maybe it's better, because he probably would have had a heart attack on the spot, and in the form of a complete rabbit.
He wished so much that he wasn't a normal person because then he wouldn't have such a problem as now.
And then simply revealing how he felt would cause such a big problem, he was one hundred percent sure.
Until he began to realize that he was not alone in this place and that someone had been watching him for a few moments.
"Aaa!!! OW!!!" Taerae squealed after a while, at the same time rising up and hitting the ceiling of the slide, and after a while he grabbed his head in pain.
"Everything's all right?" after a while, Taerae heard a familiar voice that belonged to none other than Hwarang himself.
"Go to hell! Something like some ruffian you sneaked in‽" Taerae squealed after a while, massaging his head further, secretly hoping that it would pass in a moment.
Hwarang wasn't really 100% sure if he saw Taerae sneaking by like some kind of thief.
That's why he was hesitant to follow him a moment ago.
And that's because he could have made a mistake, so he could have been thought of as a kidnapper or stalker, which he would like to avoid.
On the other hand, if he doesn't go after that person, he'll never know if he was right or wrong.
Especially since this person was acting suspiciously, which meant it wasn't a child.
The baby wouldn't move like that, he was 100% sure of it!
Again and again, through his visions, children of different ages flitted, as well as their parents.
"Go ahead or you'll lose him!" Hwarang said to himself, returning to reality at the same time, because for a moment he acted as if he was in some idiotic trance.
So, he quickly moved in the direction he had chosen, hoping that he was not mistaken.
In fact, he had no clue what he was supposed to do next once he found him, because it certainly wasn't to watch him.
He finally decided that he would have to explain why he behaved the way he did towards him.
If it wasn't for his behavior and running away at the sight of him, they probably would have explained it a long time ago.
The heat was doing its thing and now he only wished to find some shade because he wouldn't last like this.
He paused for a moment to look around.
Just to wonder where Taerae could be hiding now.
Then his eyes fell on the navy-blue, black and white slide in the form of a penguin and something touched him at that moment.
He didn't know why, but an inner voice told him that was where he was hiding.
So, he moved towards him with his soul on his shoulder because he put everything on one card.
And when he got there, he realized that he was absolutely right about it, and he really and really was inside him.
At the sound of his words, he just smiled, because what else could he do.
Now all he had to do was wait for his reply, which came shortly after.
***
"And who, in a panic, ran away from me as if he was about to kill him on the spot, hmmm?" asked Hwarang ironically, at the same time slowly entering the inside of the slide to better talk with Taerae.
"I had my reasons for running away like that!" Taerae squealed after a while, because he was supposed to answer him something else.
"And what was the reason that you were so terribly afraid of me when I knew you liked me?" he asked as if nothing had happened, Hwarang moving even closer to him so that he could look into his eyes.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Taerae's tone of voice rose even higher, though it was already quite high.
"Don't play the fool!" growled a bit irritated Hwarang, immediately pinning Taerae to the wall to prevent him from escaping.
"I'm not kidding!" Give me a break!" Taerae continued to squeal, trying to get out of order at the same time, because at any moment he could take the form of a rabbit.
"About...‽" that was all that came out of Hwarang's mouth, because something was happening in front of his eyes that he couldn't rationally explain.
This is because right after Taerae turned incredibly red in the face, bunny ears appeared on his head that acted as if they were part of his body.
They reacted to the way he acted like it was normal.
But just as he was about to speak again, there was a loud "puff!" Which he hadn't expected for the hell.
He watched as Taerae in front of his eyes took the form of a red-brown rabbit, whose mouth and then ears popped out of the clothes and he looked at Hwarang with fear written in his eyes.
"Let me... And that's why you were so afraid to tell me how you feel about me? Unbelievable..." Hwarang said after a long pause, just after he had crouched down beside him to get a better look at him.
Taerae did not expect such a reaction from Hwarang, because he was almost one hundred percent sure that he would start to run away screaming at the sight.
Instead, he crouched down beside him and started telling him that he couldn't understand why he didn't want to reveal what the hell he wasn't expecting!
Therefore, the tables motionless as if he had seen at least a basilisk.
To turn as red as a peony after a while and rejoice like a fool that he was in the form of a rabbit.
Before it occurred to him that he should soon regain his human appearance, and thus he would be completely naked.
"Over my dead body, I will let Hwarang see me naked under these circumstances!" Taerae said after a moment in rabbity, preparing to flee.
"Oh, darling, where are you going to go if you can regain your human appearance at any moment?" at that moment, Taerae's heart almost froze in her chest when he heard the words spoken by Hwarang.
Not to mention that after a while Taerae felt a warm hand on his bunny body, which caused a strange current to pass through his small body.
The current, which was not unpleasant, but on the contrary was very pleasant and did not want it to end quickly.
It took him a moment to realize what was going on, which was unlike him!
He wanted to dig a hole and hide in it.
However, just as he was about to slap his hand off, another nasty – puff! — which caused Hwarang to land on four letters.
As a result, Taerae returned to his original form and put on his clothes in a panic so that no one except Hwarang would notice him in such a state.
Hwarang at that time watched what Taerae was doing in complete silence as if he was afraid to speak.
After what he had just seen, all the pieces of the puzzle fell into place.
His suspicions were somewhat correct, but the fact that Taerae was a wererabbit wasn't what he expected and he didn't mind at all.
It's a good thing he didn't run away, or he would have returned in the middle of the playground.
"Are you done yet?" Hwarang asked after a while, breaking the silence that had developed between them.
"Y-yes, I'm done and I'm sorry for the sudden change! I'll help you get up!" Taerae replied after a moment, a bit panicky while helping Hwarang get up from the ground.
"You have nothing to apologize for! It's my fault it happened!" Hwarang announced after a while, noting that it was his fault that this happened.
"That's why I was so afraid to reveal how I feel about you, because I was afraid you wouldn't accept that I was a wererabbit!" Taerae explained after a while, throwing out what had been sitting in him for a long time.
"And what was it for? I don't mind that you're a rabbit! It doesn't mean it changes anything about who you are!" Hwarang replied after a while to his words, somewhat understanding his fears.
"You know, I wanted to make sure, because I could expect anything and therefore I didn't plan to reveal it like this!" Taerae said after a while, breathing with relief that the worst was behind him and Hwarang took it quite well.
"I'm not surprised at all that you were nervous whether I would accept you or not! But as I said, I don't mind who you are, on the contrary, I want to get to know you even more!" Hwarang said after a while, glad as a fool inside that the misunderstanding had finally cleared up.
"You don't even know how much I love you!" Taerae squealed after a while, throwing himself on Hwarang's neck and placing a passionate kiss on his lips.
Before they decided to leave this hellish slide, they talked a little more.
Thus, Hwarang found out that Hanbin knew his secret that he was a wererabbit.
Which explained a lot, then, his strange behavior towards him, which did not surprise him at all.
After all, so far he was the only person outside the Taerae family who knew his secret and tried to protect it from other people at all costs.
People who might have different ideas about what to do with such a revelation.
They didn't even notice how he snuggled into himself, but they knew that they had to leave this place eventually.
So they did, having no idea that their friends were waiting for them in the same cafe from which it all began.
"So let's go, shall we?" Hwarang asked after a while as he got up from the ground.
"Why not? I would love to drink something and eat something!" Taerae replied quickly, also as his beloved was getting up from the ground.
"In that case, we have nothing to wait for, because my dearest bunny is still here from hunger and thirst, he will faint!" Hwarang replied with slight amusement, bringing a blush to Taerae's face with these words.
***
"AHOOO!!!" Hanbin sneezed all over the shotgun, almost falling over from the impetus.
"Everything's all right?" asked the LEW, just after he had caught Hanbin at the last second to keep him from falling and hurting himself.
"Y-yes, everything's fine! Thanks for the help!" Hanbin replied quickly, at the same time breaking out of LEW's embrace because he didn't feel comfortable in them, in the meantime sniffing him.
"Not to the point! Taerae would strangle me if anything happened to you in his absence" said LEW after a while, not caring about Hanbin's reaction as if he expected one from him.
Hanbin looked at him with a question mark written on his face, not really understanding what he meant.
The more that he knew Taerae's secret and was very worried about it.
In such moments as these, he reacted too impulsively and one day he would surely hurt himself, which, as you know, he did not wish for at all.
No matter how many times he mentioned it to him, it didn't seem to matter.
Though at first, when he found out his secret, he thought he was joking when he told him he was a wererabbit.
Since then, everything has changed dramatically and he promised himself that he would help him because two heads were not one.
Therefore, he was very nervous about the reaction to Hwarang's revelation because there was no way he could hide it from him.
If, as you know, he wanted to get involved with him, because sooner or later it would have happened anyway.
The only thing left was to hope that he would accept it, because if not, it wouldn't be very interesting, of which he was one hundred percent sure.
The rest didn't even realize how important this case was to Taerae for him.
His further fate was at stake, because it was not known whether he would keep his word.
He wanted to get this over with, but time was his worst enemy.
It dragged on mercilessly, and the clock behaved as if it stood in one place.
The more so that he joined them right after that and sat down at one of the free tables.
"If only nothing happened to them..." Hyuk said after a long pause, breaking the eerie silence that had ensued between them.
At the sound of these words, Hanbin almost fell over again, so some time passed before he spoke, or rather shouted:
"TAKE IT, DON'T CRACK, FUCK YOU!" Meanwhile, Hyeongseop was returning with new orders he had collected some time ago.
No wonder that another shake almost landed this time with an impression on someone's head.
At the last moment, he managed to place them on the table top with shaking hands.
The poor man was so scared of the sudden roar from Hanbin. He had to sit down for a moment or else he would have fallen to the floor.
Confused, he looked at his friends, not really understanding why Hanbin was yelling like that.
Because he wasn't too much into the subject, because until that moment he was at the counter waiting for their next orders to be fulfilled.
"What is it about‽" Hyeongseop finally asked, wanting to finally find out why he tore like that.
“What do you think‽ Hyuk started cawing that something happened to Hwarang and Taerae because they haven't been back for so long!" Hanbin growled after a moment, explaining his earlier indignation.
When Hyeongseop wanted to speak up and express his opinion on what Hanbin said, they noticed people they knew from the corner of their eye.
And they were none other than Hwarang and Taerae who walked hand in hand being quite content.
Which meant they finally revealed how they felt about each other and everything was fine.
No wonder he started letting the others know that the people they were talking about were coming back to them.
Hanbin at that time breathed a sigh of relief and now all he had to do was wait for them to enter the cafe and he could question him.
It didn't take long, and his heart nearly leapt out of his chest.
"Finally! Why so long?" Hanbin spoke after a while, getting up from where he was currently sitting.
"Sorry, we weren't expecting you here!" Hwarang said after a while, quite surprised to see them.
"We thought you went to the forum right after he left the Hwarang cafe!" he added after a moment, slightly embarrassed Taerae not expecting to find them here.
"You must have gone mad! How are we supposed to go home like this without knowing if Hwarang found you?" replied the lion after a moment, deeply moved by what he had just heard from their lips.
At that moment, Taerae wanted to hide in a hole and not come out.
And that's because it was because of him that this whole situation happened, which, as you know, was not intentional.
Still, he couldn't believe that Hwarang returned his feelings and didn't mind being a wererabbit.
This was the most important thing for him, because it depended on whether he would be safe or not.
No wonder he was already plotting an attempt on Hwarang's life if he tried to turn it down.
Fortunately, that didn't happen, so he could breathe a sigh of relief and stop planning the murder, which he would probably regret later.
"Well, actually you're absolutely right about that, if I were in your place, I would have decided the same!" announced after a while Hyeongseop, who slowly slurped his shake and watched what was happening in front of him.
"By the way, it's finally cleared up between you two?" Hanbin asked after a moment, finally wanting to get to the point before adding: "But first sit down before you answer my question!"
So, right away, the others made a suitable place for Hwarang and Taerae to sit down in peace.
To tell the truth, it was good for Taerae because his legs were starting to refuse to obey him.
And the more that he felt merciless fatigue right after the adrenaline had subsided.
He wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep, but he couldn't.
If he relaxed to the max, there was a good chance he would turn into a rabbit, but that's where he'd like to avoid.
Happiness and relief slowly took the place of negative feelings, which made him smile.
"So how?" Hanbin asked again, wanting to finally find out if they are together or not.
"What do you think? Of course we're together! True?" Hwarang announced in amusement at Hanbin's question before turning to Taerae.
"True! What if it was different?" Taerae also said amused, finally feeling comfortable not only in the presence of Hanbin, but also in the presence of the rest, not to mention Hwarang himself.
"FINALLY, BECAUSE I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR PASSES!" Hanbin roared after a while, almost spilling the shakes on the table.
Taerae was so scared at that moment that he automatically snuggled up to Hwarang who immediately stroked his head to calm him down.
At the same time, looking at Hanbin with murder written on his face.
And that's because he had completely forgotten that his friend was not a normal human but a were-rabbit.
The others sat in complete silence, as if afraid to say a word.
As if they were afraid that he would at least kill them because they knew his twisted nature.
That's why he was so nervous about him, because he was aware of how ordinary people reacted to people like him.
Fortunately, it didn't come to that, and he could breathe a sigh of relief.
"I'll be grateful if you stop shouting!" Hwarang growled after a moment, unable to wipe it away any longer.
Taerae just looked at him, completely confused.
And that's because he didn't understand what he really meant, but his bunny nature didn't allow him to speak at the moment.
Only after Hwarang's words did Hanbin realize that he shouldn't raise his voice so much.
The more that Taerae has not yet recovered from what happened and at any moment he could change again to a fluffy ball of fur with ears and a tail.
"Sorry, I was too excited!" Hanbin replied after a moment, remorse evident in his tone of voice.
"Well, I hope it was, because if not… You'll regret it!" Hwarang announced after a while, secretly hoping that what Hanbin said was true.
The others backed up a bit to avoid getting hit by Hwarang.
"S-that's enough, it's really nothing!" he finally stammered Taerae, after a long silence.
At once, pull Hwarang's clothes to make him understand that he should let it go.
Hwarang at the sight only sighed before speaking:" So be it…!"
