Salvatore was all that Alessia had. Her only constant in life, right up until he disappeared without a word, like he was never even there. Abandoning her. The only person who looked out for her, gone. So forgive her for being a little bitter and a lot angry, even if it's been 7 years. Alessia was the only reason that Salvatore had to go on after his mother's death. With her, he wasn't just a fuck up. She looked up to him, trusted him. So much that he would lie to her forever if it kept her safe. So much that he left, hurting her in the process, so that she could stay safe. He was always going to come back. He was. Now he is. And he's here to make things right. The only problem is that Alessia's not really going to make it easy for him. When an unfortunate coincidence and a whole lot of luck brings the two back together again, they have no choice but to address the mountains between them. Is the love they had still there, or will time have broken the bond they shared? In the face of new beginnings and old enemies, will their love change shape? Most importantly, can love survive a sea of secrets?
