Prologue
I woke up in a bewildering and desolate place, feeling disoriented after a night's sleep. Uncertainty filled my mind as I ventured out for a walk, trying to make sense of my surroundings.
"Sister!" A familiar voice called out, instantly making me nervous. I strained to see if anyone was there, but there was no one in sight.
"Brother?" I spoke softly, hoping to locate him, but his presence remained elusive.
"Sister! Please help me!" his voice echoed again, and my fist clenched involuntarily.
"Where are you?!" I shouted in response, my anxiety mounting as the silence persisted. I could sense his distress, his struggle to breathe.
"Two days, sister. I'll be waiting for you!" his voice echoed once more, and then everything snapped back to reality.
I found myself back in my original location, still unsure of what had just transpired. The encounter with my brother's voice left me with a deep sense of concern and urgency. Had it been a dream, a hallucination, or something else entirely?
Determined to find answers and locate my brother, I knew I couldn't waste any time. The cryptic message he left me with lingered in my thoughts, driving me to embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind his mysterious disappearance.
As I caught my breath, Shawn and I both woke up with a sense of urgency and concern. He asked if I thought I had a vision, and I nodded in response, my mind still reeling from the experience.
"Tell everyone to pack their belongings. We need to leave for Bytrans City as soon as possible," I stated firmly.
"Why?" Shawn questioned, seeking to understand the reason for our sudden departure.
I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself before explaining, "My brother's life is at stake, and he needs my help. Mr. Shon wouldn't refer to the E001 Fentanyl Experiment without a reason. And remember, I am a participant in the Mysterious Experiment; it seems that Bytrans City is calling for my presence."
Shawn understood the gravity of the situation, and without hesitation, he agreed to prepare for the journey. We couldn't afford to waste any time, knowing the dangers that awaited us in Bytrans City. The mysteries surrounding the experiment and my brother's distress call urged us forward, bracing ourselves for the unknown challenges that lay ahead.
