A Great Read!
"The author has done an amazing job with this book so far, and even though I have only read the first ten chapters, I can already say that I really enjoyed it. The pacing feels smooth, the flow is consistent, and the emotional beats are handled with care. One of the strongest aspects for me was the tension between Vincent and Ky. Their interactions are written in a way that feels natural, and it was exciting to watch the two of them slowly grow closer again. The subtle build-up, combined with the unspoken history between them, makes for a compelling dynamic that pulled me in immediately. I especially appreciated how mysterious Ky remains without the author having to spell it all out. That choice gives the character depth and intrigue, and it is always more rewarding as a reader to uncover those layers gradually. The characters as a whole are a strong point in this story. Each one has a distinct personality and voice, which makes them easy to differentiate and enjoyable to follow. Dialogue feels authentic, and it is clear that thought has gone into how each character communicates and reacts in different situations. That being said, I think adding a few more descriptive details about the characters earlier on would make them even stronger. For example, their appearances were explained later in the story, which means many readers will have already built an image of them in their minds before the author provides one. Small and casual details slipped in naturally, such as a character brushing their dark hair out of their eyes, staring into their friend’s sharp blue gaze, or noticing how Ky’s shirt clings to his frame, can help solidify those visuals early without interrupting the flow. These subtle touches make characters easier to picture and help anchor them in the reader’s imagination right away. Where I think the story could improve most is in the descriptions of the world itself. The settings, such as the school, the main character’s house, or even the desert bonfire area, are sometimes left vague, which makes it harder for the reader to fully step into the scenes. Descriptions do not need to be long or overly detailed, but grounding the story in sensory details such as what the place looks like, smells like, sounds like, or feels like can go a long way. Even a few lines about the texture of the sand, the flicker of firelight, the creak of a school hallway, or the atmosphere of a family home can make the world feel more immersive and alive. Right now the focus is rightly on the characters and their relationships, but giving more attention to the environment around them would enhance that even further and allow the reader to feel fully present in the story. Overall, I am impressed. The author clearly has talent for building tension, pacing a story, and crafting characters that feel real and relatable. With just a little more focus on environmental description and early physical details of the characters, the novel could reach an even higher level of immersion. The foundation here is strong, and I can already tell the author knows how to engage an audience. I am excited to continue reading and see where the story goes, because if the first ten chapters are any indication, this is going to be a fantastic journey."
Must read!
"I'm usually not the biggest fan of such books, but the characters are interesting, the plot is captivating, it has humor, and there are very good scenes with well-written dialogue. I never thought I would like werewolves so much! I have no words to express how the author is sensitive and funny, with excellent descriptions of emotions that make the characters very palpable. Their relationships and points of view make me wonder what will happen next. I found myself blended within its lines, like a refreshing summer cocktail! Love it! Keep up the good work; it is great so far, and I'm enjoying it. Vincent, Ky, and Whitney found a warm place in my heart!"

"I like the flow of the story, but it’s getting a bit slow. The characters need a bit more focus. I can’t wait to see how they develop."
