Chapter 1: New Highschool Girl
There's an appearance of a mansion with decorative and colourful flowers, the roof is pink and the wall in white. Leading to a room lays a Sleeping Beauty a young teenage girl named Callie Hedgecoth, she has long, curly black hair and green eyes. She is a charming, attractive, slim build who is fair skin and have moles all over her oval shaped face, neck and body. The sound of the alarm which woke her up made her rush into the bathroom.
Then she dresses on a grey oversized long sleeve t-shirt and black jogger trouser with vans sneakers.
That pretty Lady you just saw was me, I woke up early or late today
Outside the School Whitemore Highschool are students hanging around, some are entering the school, there are few boys playing video games, a car parked near the school Callie and her father Mr. John Hedgecoth are in the car.
"I supposed we arrived early" said Mr. John looking at the students who are hanging around the school compound. "The principal is waiting for you, you don't have to miss the tour. It's your 11th grade" he turns to Callie his daughter.
"I'm nervous" Callie said feeling nervous "My first day in highschool....damn, I don't know what to say" she shrugged her shoulders "But, I promise to adjust".
"I hope you do as you say" said Mr. John looking at Callie "My Cake". Callie comes out of the car.
"In my case I have to forget being cocky like too cocky." Callie said closed the door if the car "Maybe that could make me adjust" she turns to leave
"You forgot something." Said Mr. John, Callie turns to give her father a kiss on his cheeks as she collected her phone from him then withdraws.
"Careless me" Callie said. "Thanks Dad, bye".
"Wishing you luck " Mr. John said, then drove off. Callie turns facing the school
"Sure thing, you can do this Callie" Callie said soliloquizing. "This is you, trust yourself and this is a new world for you. No more doodles, no more bullies, no more lunch baskets, no more shy show. No, I'm still shy, oh yes, I can do this, again you are Callie, Calli, Call..." Before she could conclude a teenage girl chipped in.
"Hey girl, do you have a problem?" Said the girl anxiously looking at Callie. The girl is a tanned skin girl with a dirty blonde she's on a casual dressing.
"Um, ye - no, I mean no problems" Callie stammered. "I have to go to the principal" she leaves.
In the principal Hans Brandon's Office he is on his chair attending to two parents, Callie enters he immediately rounded up the meeting then the parents leaves. Callie stood looking at him.
"Good Morning!" Callie said with all her teeth posing a smile.
"You must be Callie Hedgecoth the transferred student from London, right?" The principal said looking at her.
"Yeah" said Callie pretending to be courageous looking at the principal.
"I see, have a seat." The principal said, Callie seats on a chair admiring the principal's office as he brings out files out. She sees map chart on the wall , there are books in a shelf , then pictures of higher staff and some artworks done by the students. Then three world cups in a shelf. "I got to read about your details about your tenth grade in your former high school and it prove to me enough that you're admitted."
"Seriously," Callie said with a bright smile on her face. "I vow to do well"
"You have to be like your father" The principal said with smiles
"You know my father?" Callie asked pretending not to have a knowledge about her dad being a friend to the principal.
"We schooled, studied and graduated together at twelfth grade" The principal replied.
"Oh, amazing. Yeah, that's what best friends does, you know?" Callie said "all the time".
"I'm not trying to make fun here or crack jokes, Miss Hedgecoth" The principal said "What I meant to say is for you to be serious like your father, having the qualities of a real student, just like principal and his students but hardworking and committed to anything, look at me I'm under an obligation to represent the school and give the students here a pleasant advice" inhales "that's all, so after Highschool what do you wish to be?"
Callie being too attentive to the principal and got lost, she didn't have a clue when the principal stops and asked her questions, she's surprised.
"Callie? Callie?" The principal called her but Callie is no longer paying attention she's day dreaming seeing herself holding a microphone as the crowd chanted her name then she sees a young Callie smiling holding a bell suddenly the bell rings she becomes conscious to see the principal holding the bell "Are my words quite distracting?"
"No, not exactly" Callie replied as she blushed in embarrassment.
"So as I was saying what's your career?" The principal asked, looking at Callie
"I want to be a famous musician" Callie replied.
"You need hardworking that's one thing you should ever know" The principal said "Not being obsessed with the desire to become a famous singer".
"Yeah definitely" Callie said looking at the principal who is arranging the file in order
"No comment, the ball is in your court" The principal said "Is time to be introduced". He stood up.
In the class are students some are bubbling their iPhones, some are writing, some are texting love messages to each other and some are playing video games while the teacher is explaining a topic to them the principal Hans Brandon and Callie enters, she's nervous and shy looking at the class.
"Class meet our new student Callie Hedgecoth" The principal said.
"Hi" Callie said waving to the class in a timid way.
"Go have a seat." The principal said, he leaves as Callie timidly walks to have a seat near the girl she saw outside the school compound.
"Hey you're that girl, right?" Justina asked, Callie recognized her and nods. "I'm Justina Willing".
"Callie Hedgecoth" Callie said with smiles.
"Can we be best friends?" Justina asked as Callie nods excitedly then she turns to write. Callie admiring the class turns at her back seat to see a girl writing behind her is an extremely handsome guy with squarish looking face that is stunningly matched in his short haircut that is gelled on top of his head, which is dark blonde. His hair perfectly matches his blue eyes which are captivatingly deep and dreamy! Tan skin in complexion. His name is Calvin Stalker he is looking at Callie smiling then he clicks his eyes for her, she turns back to her book with a pen to write.
In New York the road is busy, vehicles horning and driving also with people moving . In the Hedgecoth apartment is Mr. John Hedgecoth on a telephone call holding a file
"Yeah, I won't be able to come" Mr. John said looking at the file. "Tell the workers not to sign up for a leave until the closing time and I know you believe in this saying all works and no play makes Jack a dull boy but that's not my main idea I want you to be alert and attentive. Goodbye" he ends the call looking at the file "Nice" he seats on his sofa drinking a glass of orange juice "The old ways is not always the best way, try something new today " he chuckled.
In the School Callie and Justina walks into a room where many girls are with few guys practicing a song note.
"So where are we?" Callie asked curious looking at the girls and boys.
"You can have your practice here" Justina replied "They're singers" all the girls moved forward to Callie.
"Hi I'm Charlotte, what are you doing in our territory" Charlotte said smiling mischievous
"What do you mean by that?" Callie chuckled looking at Charlotte.
"This room belongs to Rising Eagles, girl" Tara said smiling "No room for the obscure unless you wanna join". Everyone's silent for a moment, Callie broke the silent
"Okay I wanna join" Callie said looking at Tara.
"Not as easy as you think" Tara said "You have to undergo a test for you to be popular".
"What kind of test?" Callie scoffed turns to Charlotte then to Tara.
"At least she isn't such a bad chap really" Mia said a fat, brown skin lady with a cropped curly dark brown hair.
"I don't get what's going on?" Callie asked looking at them in puzzlement. Justina confused
"Sooner you will, this test you're gonna pass through doesn't have chances" Charlotte said "But, ones"
"Are you ready?" Mia asked looking at Callie in distain. Callie silent for a moment
"Okay, okay I'm ready" Callie's replied.
"Settled then." Tara said "The test is this you as Callie Hedyou're gonna throw a party for us in your house" Callie speechless.
"That's unfair" Justina said. As Tara held her on the left hand
"Hey girl, shut your mouth." Tara said she leaves Justina "This test is for the brunette girl". Looking at speechless Callie.
"Settled." Callie said then inhales. "I have no other choice, you win."
"Okay, we're looking forward for the party" Charlotte said "Goodbye." The bell rings as the girls dismissed.
"Are you sure of this?" Justina asked looking at Callie
"Yeah, I'm totally sure." Callie said pretending to be too confident but she's feeling the regret inside killing her.
